I believe in what Fr Rodrigue said. Pope Francis will try to pull back, but it will be too late.

But that’s speculation very much like my own opinion on the Pope visiting Moscow. I want to remind you that there was quite a misinterpretation on what happened to Joey’s eyesight. It is quite possible Conchita again may have misunderstood about the Pope’s visit. She was just an innocent child at the time. Why would Russia invite a Pope that is doing so much harm to the Christian teachings? It makes no sense. It would contradict their own religion, and most likely confuse the Muslim’s in Russia. I just don’t see that happening anymore.

I must say that I have felt a huge interest in Garabandal for many years, but I never considered myself a true believer, I was always by the fence, as our brother Mac (RIP) use to say. Sometimes I got closer and on other occasions I moved away because of the many questions that those phenomena raised in my mind and which were no different from those that abound on the Internet. For example, I would be unable to pray before an image of Our Lady of Mount Carmel of Garabandal, for fear that it was not something from Heaven.

That changed completely after I drove into Spain until the village, in the summer of 2022. I have a rosary that I bought at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Covadonga, in the Principality of Asturias, and a crucifix of Saint Benedict that I bought in the village, both blessed by Father Rolando (local priest). Since then, I always sleep with this crucifix under my pillow, I bless myself with it and kiss it in the same way as the girls of Garabandal and sometimes I need to listen the recordings of their prayers and songs. I carry that cross in my pocket to Church and I visibly held it between me and the priest during my last confession in Fátima, which made me tear up a few months ago... By the way, I have to find time to go there again...

In other words, I firmly believe that those apparitions are true and very relevant in the current historical and religious context, but that's just my perception and I am not a saint, not at all.

It's difficult to describe the silence and peace you feel up there, in the pine trees.

Perhaps Putin will wait for the next pontificate to restart relations with the Holy See. In the case of a cardinal with extensive diplomatic experience like Zuppi or Parolin, it seems that both would be very welcome in Russia at the beginning of their pontificate.

“Things will get worse before the Warning!” Those are the Garabandal messages. Doubtful we will have conservative Pope’s during the Warning and Miracle.

I’ve been to Asturias and visited Our Lady of Covadonga. It’s a beautiful part of Spain. I went with with my parents during my high school years, but they didn’t have time to visit Garabandal. I’ve been to Spain a number of times, unfortunately, I’ve never been able to go to Garabandal. But one day, hopefully, I will.

In the specific case of Zuppi and Parolin, they are not exactly conservative. As for the prediction that things will get worse before the warning, this could be a reference to the great persecution against Christians in Europe.

Agree. But the persecution comes because of sin. The latest document from Fernandez and Bergoglio does not unite, it divides. I believe persecution is already here thanks to the lunacy inside the Vatican. This gay union blessing will not go well with Islamists either.

I don't know if it's me, but I can't seem to be interested in Father Michael Rodrigue interviews. However, he seems like a good person and well-intentioned.

Well, you changed on how you used to feel about Garabandal. So there is still hope for you. Lol!

I thought about that too; many Catholic faithful will pay for the new "inclusive stance of Fernandez and Bergoglio." I'm not sure if the Holy See has embassies in all Islamic countries, but I imagined they could become targets of attacks.

Xavier Ayral has wonderful videos and speaks very well of Fr Rodrigue. Ayral’s book called Revelations is thorough and quite brilliant. He’s someone I trust.

I can't remember who Fr. Rodrigue is. If he's the priest who was setting up refuges, I didn't find him convincing.

At this stage, considering his age and health issues, it's hard to tell how much input the Pope has in the preparation of official documents. He's probably weak and may be very tired. It appears that he has absolute trust in Cardinal Fernandez, possibly enough to sign off on anything Fernandez puts before him. Cardinal Ladaria was probably put in the CDF to warm the seat for Fernandez until the fuss died down after the removal of Cardinal Mueller. Ladaria wasn't as bad as we feared. Even during the covid hysteria while the Pope was telling people it was a moral obligation to take an experimental vaccine linked to abortion, the official document from the Vatican contained a loophole for people with strong moral objections to it. Cardinal Ladaria didn't last long after he issued the document saying that the Church can't bless sin.

I think that any attempts to pull back will be Cardinal Fernandez trying to improve his own image as this papacy nears its end. I suppose that Fr. Rodrigue could say that the concession to African Bishops and the supposed admonition of the Germans was an attempt at pullback. That's certainly too little and too late. I wonder does Fernandez's influence stretch to deciding who gets promoted to Bishop or Cardinal.

It must be one of the most beautiful religious sites in the world, I also only went there once. Even the journey on the motorway from the North of Portugal to Asturias is of stunning scenic beauty, crossing the Cantabrian Mountains. I couldn't enter the basilica because it was being prepared for a concert.

Historically, it corresponds to the only region of the Iberian Peninsula where Christians managed to resist the Muslim occupation that began in the 8th century and from where the reconquest of the Christian crusaders began, giving rise to the various peninsular kingdoms, Such as the Kingdom of Portugal and the various kingdoms that forms the Spain of today.

Breathtaking! And the history of that region is quite remarkable, as is Portugal’s.

I'm not fully convinced of that. Somewhere in a corner of my mind, I cling to the belief that Pope Francis has a character flaw that leaves him vulnerable to people who know how to butter him up by playing on his soft spot for people tempted by the demon of lust. We really don't know what goes on in the background. Even leaked information is filtered through the bias of the person leaking, and we don't their motives. Fernandez is a theologian and Pope Francis admits to being somewhat weak on theology. Pope Francis probably thought he was good at communicating with young people and could convey the theology in a way they would understand. I know that's a bit of a stretch but I'm trying to give as much benefit of the doubt as I can muster for the Vicar of Christ.

I do think that there's more to the story about the attempts to have the book wiped off all records - even it's ISBN. That's worrisome.

I had never heard of Our Lady of Covadonga. I just looked it up. Impressive. The basilica looks lovely and the surroundings are magnificent.

But doesn't he have some prophecies that ended up not coming true? I'm just asking because I don't even know what those prophecies are.
