AKITA, JAPAN AUGUST 3, 1973 "Many men in this world afflict the Lord. I desire souls to console Him to soften the anger of the Heavenly Father. I wish, with my Son, for souls who will repair by their suffering and their poverty for the sinners and ingrates." "In order that the world might know His anger, the Heavenly Father is preparing to inflict a great chastisement on all mankind. With my Son I have intervened so many times to appease the wrath of the Father. I have prevented the coming of calamities by offering Him the sufferings of the Son on the Cross, His Precious Blood, and beloved souls who console Him forming a cohort of victim souls. Prayer, penance and courageous sacrifices can soften the Father's anger. I desire this also from your community...that it love poverty, that it sanctify itself and pray in reparation for the ingratitude and outrages of so many men. OCTOBER 13, 1973 "My dear daughter, listen well to what I have to say to you. You will inform your superior." After a short silence: "As I told you, if men do not repent and better themselves, the Father will inflict a terrible punishment on all humanity. It will be a punishment greater than the deluge, such as one will never seen before. Fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great part of humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither priests nor faithful. The survivors will find themselves so desolate that they will envy the dead. The only arms which will remain for you will be the Rosary and the Sign left by My Son. Each day recite the prayers of the Rosary. With the Rosary, pray for the Pope, the bishops and priests." "The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops against bishops. The priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed by their confreres...churches and altars sacked; the Church will be full of those who accept compromises and the demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord. "The demon will be especially implacable against souls consecrated to God. The thought of the loss of so many souls is the cause of my sadness. If sins increase in number and gravity, there will be no longer pardon for them" "Pray very much the prayers of the Rosary. I alone am able still to save you from the calamites which approach. Those who place their confidence in me will be saved."
I think that's a good way of looking at it. The weeping eyes was one of the miracles at Akita. I believe she wept tears 101 times; the cotton balls which soaked up the tears have been saved. Would I weep as much for my own sins! Lord, soften my heart so as to hate and resist my sins more diligently. Give us the grace to be over-comers!
Yes, I believe it was no coincidence. This convinced me to believe the throwing of idols in the Tiber River was the right thing to do! O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!
https://romancatholicman.com/wp/abo...ing_wp_cron=1664640460.7918319702148437500000 ABOUT THE OCTOBER 6 MESSAGE TO SR. AGNES SASAGAWA OF AKITA Fr Richard Heilman November 3, 2019 Reports have come in, especially today, that Sr. Agnes Sasagawa of Akita received the following message on October 6. This was on the opening day of the Amazon Synod (I believe this is not accidental), and the first message since the 1970s … “Put on ashes and pray for a repentant rosary every day.” I believe the first part, “Put on ashes,” is not meant that we are, literally, to walk around with ashes on. But, is meant to place ourselves in the same penitential mode we do as we begin Lent every year. In other words, a state of mortification and humility. The second part, “pray for a repentant rosary every day,” is best translated as pray a rosary for repentance and reparation every day. Many of us prayed in this way shortly after the sex abuse crisis broke in the Church, in August of 2018. While we still lack a solid verification of this message to Sr. Agnes, I believe it. Or, at least, I believe the need for a call for all of us to do the “Nineveh Thing.” Personally, I don’t think the world and the Church have ever been so disengaged from the will of God as we are today, especially when one considers the acceleration of sin by way of modern mass communication, especially the internet. People are being indoctrinated into abandoning God and His will at an alarming rate. One could say that the “ultimate outrage” for God was blithely celebrating pagan idols in paraliturgies, right in the heart of the Church (Vatican) He founded. This was the “Golden Calf Moment” for our times. I am planning to add very strict fasting to my daily rosary that will be prayed in reparation for all of the sins against the will of God in our times. Like Nineveh, I will do this for 40 days. I believe November 3rd, the day this message from Sr. Agnes of Akita went viral, is meant to be day 1 of 40 days … like Nineveh. Day 40, providentially, lands on The Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe (Dec. 12). Will you join me?
Mario, you're right in saying that the statue of Our Lady of Akita wept on 101 occasions. At the moment I can't locate my copy of Fr. Yasuda's book, The Tears and Message of Mary but I found some references to the significance of the tears, online. In December 1975, Sister Agnes's Guardian Angel: said, "Do not be surprised to see the Blessed Virgin weeping. She weeps because she wishes the conversion of the greatest number. She desires that souls be consecrated to Jesus.” On September 28, 1981, her Guardian Angel explained the meaning of the weeping statue: "There is a meaning to the figure 101 (the number of times the statue wept). This signifies that sin came into the world by a woman and it is also by a woman that salvation came into the world. The zero between the two signifies the Eternal God who is from all eternity until eternity. The first one represents Eve, and the last, the Virgin Mary."
Having been closed for three and a half years due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Shrine of Our Lady of Akita and its grounds will reopen on April 29th. The chapel will be open from 9:30 to 11:30 and from 13:00 to 16:00 every day except Wednesdays. Praying in the garden will be possible daily from 9:00 to 17:00. https://seitaihoshikai.com › ... If you visit you won’t find any reference to the extraordinary events that happened there. The Vatican has buried Akita.
When I visited Akita the nuns were very friendly and informative. They even gave me private access to the chapel during hours when it was normally locked. They took the trouble of opening the glass cabinet which houses the cotton wool buds that had wiped the miraculous tears of Our Lady’s statue and told me their story. They planted in me the seed of Faith in the truth of the “extraordinary events” . That seed was all that was “buried.” As you will see in the links posted the shrine is supported and promoted by the local bishop.
I checked the geographical co-ordinates for Fatima (39 degrees north) and those for Akita (39 degrees north) and was not surprised at the 'co-incidence' though I have no idea why it should be so. Perhaps it is a pointer and perhaps others have noted it, I don't know. Washington D.C. is less than one degree off as is New Jersey. Interesting !
