I firmly believe Gisella's messages are not from Heaven.

 

It almost seems to be the opposite of the Medujorge message today.

 

Gisella's messages are nearly always of impending doom that is supposedly just about to be upon us. And yet, month after month the doom is still just about to be upon us. Mary doesn't speak like that... If she has a warning for us, she also has a solution. She comes to help us avert God's wrath, not to give us perpetually negative news.

 

I think that the best approach to the Good Lord with prayers of Petition and towards God's Promises are great childlike simplicity.

We were promised that if the Consecration was made Russia will be Converted and a Period of Peace would be granted to the World. There were no time limits or qualifications set on these promises and I fully expect them to be kept. I think the vast majority of Catholics have this simple, child like expectation.

In terms of the Conversation of Russia, I fully expect the Schismatic State Orthodox Church to come to the Apostolic Catholic Church, the One True Faith. I expect a huge religious revival there and Russia to be a Light to the Entire World.

As to the Second Promise, that a period of peace will be granted to the world will occur and in short order. At the very least that will be spared Nuclear Annihilation, which up to recently looked very likely.

Balancing this people have a choice between good and evil.

As Catholics we need to obey the ten commandments, go to Mass at least once a week, pray, especially the Rosary and frequent the Sacraments. We need to abandon Apostasy and Heresy. These are basics. We face a very,very dim future if we do not.

As to Gisella Cardia and Medugorje, well I don't see very much difference between the urgent message from Medugorje yesterday and Gissella's latest message:

I agree, we as the faithful cannot consecrate and so in praying for and with our Priests, Bishops and Pope we have a role that sets us apart from the Hierarchy, we are called to not only submit our will to this prayer/consecration but we are called to elevate this prayer by our humble obedience and agreeance to this consecration. Therefore the faithful catholic joins this prayer and the explicit intention of the prayer, by reinforcing in our lay and humble way, prayers for the the intention of the Priest, Bishop or Pope.
What our community did was to offer Adoration to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, followed by Holy Mass, with a few who stayed back to offer the Rosary, the Divine Mercy Chaplet, the angelus and the Stations of the cross for the consecration intentions of our Pope and the collegial Bishops. In my own personal life I was able to pray another 4 rosary's for this intention, praise God for giving me this time, Which He ingeniously carved out for me.

Offering specific prayers of the Pope, Bishops and Priests is a very good intention PF and I acknowledge you realise you and other laity are not the person/persons who confer the sacramental intention of the prayer.
This is at the Heart of the matter, we laity support those consecrated to God (those who receive the sacrament of Holy Orders) by our prayer, sacrifice and penances. You have indeed uplifted in prayer, the Priests, Bishops and the Pope himself with your holy intentions.

 

Me neither.

At Medjugorje Our Lady often said that the world faced destruction. Period. That’s why she was sent from Heaven.

And At Fatima she mentioned “the annihilation of various nations”.

It doesn’t get any more ominous than that.

 

Blizzard, Our Lady of Medjugorje predicted no World War III like Our Lady of Garabandal, so that's a positive thing I suppose but I also suppose that various nations could be annihilated without WWIII (ie. Taiwan, idk).

What's very interesting from that link is the following:

March 25, 1984 was the 1,000th apparition at Medjugorje – from June 25, 1981, the anniversary of the first Medjugorje apparition.

March 25, 2022 will be 14,833 days, or 40 years, 9 months from June 25, 1981.

40 Years, a Biblical number of significance.

9 Months, the full term to birth.​

 

I agree.

 

I have a friend called Sean who was in Medugorje more times than the Mayor of Medugorje. He nearly lived there. He seemed to know half the village. But he would never hear any talk about the Ten Secrets or anything to do, with ,'Doom and Gloom', regarding the messages.

When I pointed out to him that the Secrets were central to understanding what was going on in the village he rejected it. He basically wanted the happy stuff but never wanted the hard stuff.

I always wondered about this. I suspect part of it was to do with his brother. His brother came out as Gay after returning from New York back home on a visit and brought his black boyfriend home with him. This was Earth Quake stuff in Ireland back then. In a way I kind of admired him for this it, took great courage back in those days.

This gentleman died of AIDS in a New York hospital about a year ago. My friend Sean and his sister see nothing wrong with the homosexual lifestyle and reject Scripture and the Church's Teachings on the subject. This although they are very active Catholics.

I always though this might be why Sean found it hard to accept the ,'Doom and Gloom' stuff from Medugorje. The Hard Edge Messages. They wanted the cake, so to speak but do not want to eat the Spinach.

I think this should be our"child like"state of mind right now.

Which brings me to another point of view:
I was never a follower of Gisella Cardia. Altho I'm not as forthright as PF is about her... GC s latest "message"was one of DOUBT!!
Which gave me pause.

I often wondered ..."Why would the Satan even bother to go to the trouble of "pretending " to be a messenger from God?

Hmmmm... could it be that once he gets loyal "followers" to one of his "seers" that he can then spread "fake news"( for lack of a better term) through them and their followers?? OR ...just plain spread DOUBT about what heaven is actually proclaiming through authentic ...church approved seers??

I'm not saying that GC is a minion of the devil because I don't know that she is....she maybe the real deal!

As much as I like and loosely follow Mark Mallet and Medjugorje...they are not church approved...yet... sooo if their position is casting doubt on what happened yesterday.... then I think prudence would be wisest position to hold here and just wait and see.

FYI .... These are merely my opinions. Nothing more than that.

I usually post the latest messages to this forum from 'Jennifer' anononymous seer. Words from Jesus. Yesterday morning I saw there were new messages but I didn't post them here. They would have discouraged people from praying the Consecration.

 

How do you know this? Are you surmising or did you have an actual discussion with Sean and his sister? Sorry for the tough questions. Most people that have relatives living in sin don't exactly broadcast their feelings to the outside world. Sean and sister may have quietly hoped for their brother's conversion, but wouldn't have necessarily condemned him to the community. Since the visionaries have said to focus on heaven and salvation, maybe we should do the same.

 

I think we need to do the hard thing and call out the grave sin of Sodomy. It is a spiritual work of mercy to admonish the sinner. I think it was Ezekiel who was advised by the Lord to call out sin. If he DIDN’T call out sin, he would have to answer to God.

 

Fr. Chris Alar from the Devine Mercy Shrine spoke about this recently. He said many people confess that they are guilty of being judgmental, and he said he always asks them to explain the situation. He talked of a woman who felt she was judgmental when her daughter asked her to drive her to an abortion clinic and she refused. Father told her that in that instance she was called to be judgemental, it was her duty to correct her daughter. It is this dangerous politically correct environment that prevents people from 'calling out' the sin because they fear the sinner may be offended by the Truth.

 

Probably a wise decision.

But I suppose it’s okay to post it now. I also believe Jennifer is a credible visionary.

So at the risk of ruffling some feathers here goes.

My Child, when My people seek to ask My Mother to intercede for peace in this world, heaven hears the cries of My Children. When it is done by those who seek to show the world a false light and false prayers in the name of peace and unity, no merit will come from it. Fruitful prayer only comes when hearts are pure, and holiness is being sought. Do not misjudge Russia because many do not truly see what is happening behind closed doors. Now go forth, for I am Jesus, and be at peace, for My Mercy and Justice will prevail.

Well I know this because I know them very well and the family from childhood. The best incident of their support for his , 'Life Style' , choice was at brothers funeral in New York were several members of the family were allowed in Church to preach paneygeric addresses to the congregation praising their brother for the choices he made in living a homosexual lifestyle. He was , they opioned one of the heroes of the Gay Revolution. In addition they have been taking up collections around the area for A Pro Gay Cause. There can be doubt at this stage that they are very,very pro Gay indeed.

One of the sisters is on my Face Book page (her choice rather than mine) and after posting several pro Gay statements I pointed out to her that as one Protestant Theologian pointed out in Scripture everywhere that homosexuality is mentioned it is condemned; nowhere is it ever praised. That it has been the Tradition of the Church for 2,000 years to condemn this practice as gravely sinful.

She never responded.

 

I was in the company of a gentleman, a Traditional Church going Catholic just a few days ago. I have a lot of respect for him in so many ways. He was a money man. He used to work in Banks and then in Finance helping people in money matters all his life, helping with such things as getting people houses and helping them out of bad financial situations and starting their own buisnesses and so on.

Anyway when he had a young family his wife betrayed him by having a long affaire with another man. I knew this woman and while I don't want to be uncharitable, lets just say she wasn't the finest human being I ever had dealings with.

Anyway the couple got separated and then divorced. He is now living with another woman. I have know her for years and like her. She works with handicapped children in care homes and is perfect for the job. She herself is divorced.

I could have called them out. But all this would have led to would be a big violent argument with my probably winding up with a broken nose and ending our relationship forever.

I think they know where I stand without me ever calling it right out there in the open.

But it made me think, looking at the two of them, that at the bottom line I should not be too quick to launch into final Judgement. God knows the Secrets of Men's Heart and at the End of the Day God and only God will Judge.

I am not denying the situation is sinful. But sometimes in life people get dealt some very, very bad cards and they continue on to play the game badly in the poker game of life.

Sometimes all we can do for people is pray and wait and maybe not think too badly of them.

Maybe if I had been dealt a few more bad cards in life I wouldn't be sitting at the same place at the Poker Table. Anyway I hate shouting matches at Poker Tables, they never seem to do much good.

 

Not focusing too much on the secrets of Medjugorje is actually what the visionaries themselves have asked of us many times. The problem is that people get really caught up in curiosity about the doom and gloom, to the point that they forget that the whole reason Mary is coming with these secrets is because she wants us to change our lives and save souls. Yes, we need to be aware that these things will come so that we pray, fast, save sinners and change our own lives, but we don't need to be continually harping on the bad stuff to the point that we're spending more time speculating or preparing physically for it than we are on our knees before God begging pardon for ourselves and others.

It makes no sense for Mary to come just to tell us how bad everything is going to get, without offering us real hope and solutions. False visionaries are often like this... They keep dangling that carrot of excitement and fear, so people stay glued to the messages waiting to hear what bad thing is coming soon. True apparitions don't have this kind of tone. The really awful things are usually kept as secrets, and there's a reason for that. They are usually conditional, and they only need to be known by certain people or in a certain time and place. God does not send Mary to us just to satisfy our curiosities and give us a heads up on what we'd like to prepare ourselves for. If she tells us something awful will come, it's to move our hearts to cry out to God for mercy and lead our brothers and sisters to conversion so it doesn't go so badly for them. It's not so much about ourselves. Which is why I'm also very wary of visionaries that claim bad stuff is coming but don't worry, you good Christians will be safe in your sanctuaries while the bad people suffer. No, Mary is a mother to all her children. She comes to us who listen so that we will help her save the ones who aren't listening.

It all serves a purpose, and that purpose is to save souls. That is the lens through which we should view and discern all purported messages from Heaven.
