    I never thought of that.

    1 Corinthians 6:15-20
"Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never! Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.” But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit. Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies."

I find it significant that Saint Paul compares sexual immorality to the act of joining a prostitute and becoming one body with her, and the synod is currently relaxing the condemnation of homosexuality and polygamy.

I am not entirely convinced that Blessed Sr. Anna K. Emmerich was speaking about any historical Popes in her following quote: "I saw also the relationship between two popes … I saw how baleful would be the consequences of this false church."

She speaks of a relationship between two Popes. To me, this indicates two (apparent) Popes are alive at the same time.

I think she was trying to warn us about a situation where the Holy Catholic Church would seemingly have two Popes, a situation that actually came to pass from 2013 to 2022. And then, worse, a so-called After-Church, or false church, is established - initiated by "German charlatans", in her words.

Yes, Sr. Emmerich makes a reference to Pope Boniface, perhaps to indicate the tradition of the Holy Catholic Church. I am not sure - I could be wrong. Perhaps one has to interpret her prophesy in a mystical way: Emmerich warned about a situation with two living popes, one false, the other holy but isolated.

All of Emmerich's prophesy (written down by famous poet Clemens Brentano) is mystical and metaphorical. She was clearly trying to warn us about future developments (from her vantage point in the 1800s).

Referring to the outcome of it all, Sr. Emmerich said: "Oh you German charlatans, you shall not succeed". And she also said: "God has other plans".

This gives me hope. God bless!

PS: Of high interest is also the prophecy of St. Francis of Assisi - where he called the brethren to his deathbed and said (as I recall): "As a punishment, God will send a pope not validly elected, a destroyer. Many will be mislead due to the poison of his errors."

These prophecies you refer to are both unapproved, I think. So….
There are important reasons not to build a case using both of these.

Julia Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us.

The true aims of the Synod on synodality UNMASKED. No more Christ, no more Catholic Church. A one world church.

One sure Sign of the presence of the Devil is that he is boring in all that he is and does. Reports from the abomination that calls itself, 'The Synod on Synodality ' , is that it was utterly and mind numbingly boring.

I think I would rather have had all my teeth extracted at the dentist than having to sit at one of those round tables at the synod for a whole month.

    A form of mental torture.

All hot air as the concluding paper was written up before it even started. All smokescreen and mirrors.

The Synod reminds me of the Presbyterian church where ministers, elders and lay people run the church in a democratic manner.

It has ever been so...Paul stated:

Acts 20: 26 Therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all of you, 27 for I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole counsel of God. 28 Take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you guardians, to feed the church of the Lord which he obtained with his own blood. 29 I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; 30 and from among your own selves will arise men speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them. 31 Therefore be alert, remembering that for three years I did not cease night or day to admonish every one with tears. 32 And now I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

It now approaches the apex of subversion, a subversion which will fail (though there will be shed blood among us). Remember, we are not casual spectators on the sidelines, but among those who stand in the ranks of Mary's Army.

Canticle of Canticles 6:9 Who is she that cometh forth as the morning rising, fair as the moon, bright as the sun, terrible as an army set in array?

Rev 19:6 Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the sound of many waters and like the sound of mighty thunderpeals, crying,
“Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns.
7 Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory,
for the marriage of the Lamb has come,
    and his Bride has made herself ready;
8 it was granted her to be clothed with fine linen, bright and pure”— for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.

O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!

This is a long discussion between Matt Fradd and Ralph Martin. I was annoyed with Ralph Martin's wishy washy reaction to Amoris Laetitia but I have come to appreciate his calm, faith filled and uncompromising approach to the current problems in the Church. I tied to download his book "The Fulfillment of All Desire" as recommended by Matt Fradd because I'm going on holidays shortly and will have time to read it. Some glitch on my kindle stopped the download so, before trying to download it again, I'd be interested to know whether anyone here has read it and would you recommend it?

Here's the video of Ralph and Matt's discussion:

I ditto AED. It is not a book like a novel from which one extracts a spiritual lesson. It is rather a compendium of wisdom from saints teaching us to stay on the upward path of sanctity. A great addition for one's library to which you can return frequently.
