Girls can reveal names of people and Priests in ecstasy. “While in ecstasy, they revealed the names of certain spectators. They knew and made known the exact number of priests who were in the village at the time. One day they disclosed that there was one more priest than was seen. The person concerned was convinced, admitting that he had dressed as a layman for the occasion. For myself, one day Loli revealed my name and surnames, adding that my parish was dedicated to the Virgin.” Memoirs of a Spanish Country Priest by Father José Ramon Garcia de la Riva, page 19 Jacinta Points Out the Priest’s Presence Among the people who went up one day with us to Garabandal was a Military Air Force Chaplain. He was wearing only the insignias of his rank of Captain and he asked the priests present not to tell the girls that he was also a priest. His desire was carefully respected. That night Jacinta fell into ecstasy and the pastor, Father Valentín, as was his custom, asked her how many priests were present. The girl gave the correct number of those in cassocks and added, “And one of those who go by plane. This is his name.” Returning home with us at 4 o’clock in the morning, the chaplain could not stop telling me of his astonishment and emotions. “Memoirs of a Spanish Country Priest “ by Father José Ramon Garcia de la Riva, Page 22
Hierognosis examples at Garabandal Several episodes of hierognosis (unexplainable recognition of religious relics or persons) happened in front of me at Garabandal. Without question, the visionaries recognized persons consecrated to God. They also knew the number of priests present in the village. In her diary, Conchita points out a Dominican who was there incognito. During her ecstasy, she spoke of him and they heard her call him “dominicou.” Later she warned him on behalf of the Virgin that he should wear his habit . . . “So beautiful!” * Also, the girls recognized whether an object had or had not been kissed by the Virgin. While in ecstasy, always. A hundred proofs of this could be given. I can personally verify that, even in the normal state, Conchita knew this. An example: — “Conchita, during the next apparition, would you offer this rosary for the Virgin’s kiss?” — “But it’s already been done.” Since I was sure that she had never seen it, I insisted. — “Be nice, do me a favor. Offer it during the apparition.” — “But why do you want her to redo it, since it has already been done?” she answered smiling. In my opinion, the kissed objects emanated perfume that could be perceived at times. "Memoirs of a Spanish Country Priest" by Father José Ramon Garcia de la Riva, Page 39
MARCH 1963: CONCHITA'S FIRST LOCUTIONS Conchita had been suffering a great deal ever since the month of January from not seeing the Blessed Virgin. Because she already knew the date of the Great Miracle, she felt how much one must be able to wait. . . actively. Assailed by the doubts of her entourage, she, too, was beginning to waver . . . when she heard Mary's voice interiorly for the first time telling her: "Have no doubts that my Son will perform the Miracle." This first of the two locutions that Conchita was to be granted as early as March 1963, gave her "a joy and peace still greater than when saw the Blessed Virgin . . . for then I have Our Lady inside me!," she explained. Fascinated by "this voice of intimate happiness without words," Conchita was henceforth "as certain," as she said, "that the Miracle would come, as 2 and 2 make 4!" Conchita wrote in her Diary that she preferred locutions rather than apparitions, but still more to receive the Eucharist. She explained that her locutions occurred when she was praying "either in my room, or at the Pines, or again at church." From 'Garabandal' Book, by J. Serre, page 171
SAINT PADRE PIO’S BELIEF IN GARABANDAL “While he was living, the same Padre Pio guaranteed the authenticity of the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin. He met Conchita at San Giovanni Rotondo. Even during the last days of his life, he talked about this to his brothers in religious life and left a personal message for the principle personage of the apparitions. “ Fr. Pelletier -“Our Lady comes to Garabandal” page 219
TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY: MARCH 3, 1962 A letter arrived in Garabandal addressed to all four visionaries. It was typewritten in Italian, and had an Italian stamp, but wasn't postmarked. Nor was it signed. Mary would later confirm to Conchita that it was in fact Padre Pio who sent the letter to them. The letter said: "My Dear Children, "At nine o'clock this morning the Holy Virgin told me to say to you: 'O Blessed young girls of San Sebastian de Garabandal! I promise you that I will be with you until the end of the centuries, and you will be with Me during the end of the world and later, united with Me in the Glory of Paradise.' Padre Pio continued: I am sending you a copy of the Holy Rosary of Fatima, which the Virgin told me to send you. The Rosary was composed by the Virgin and should be propagated for the salvation of sinners and preservation of humanity from the terrible punishments with which the good God is threatening it. I give you only one counsel: PRAY and get others to pray, because the world is at the beginning of perdition. They do not believe in you or in your conversations with the Lady in White. BUT THEY WILL BELIEVE YOU WHEN IT WILL BE TOO LATE" Excerpted from 'Garabandal' Book,J. Serre, page 125 Below is the actual letter.
PADRE PIO’S LETTER CONFIRMED BY MARY ! I was asked to verify the Padre Pio letter I posted yesterday . I have found the proof in the book " SHE WENT IN HASTE TO THE MOUNTAIN " pages 363-365. I was told from friends in Spain that the letter was not signed so that Padre Pio would not be in opposition to the church, so how come so many people were sure it was from him ? These pages tell how Conchita asked the Blessed Mother herself in one of her visits, and she confirmed it was from Padre Pio ! Q. Conchita, do you remember anything about the letter that you are said to have received from Padre Pio? A. “You know that I have moments in which I remember many things about the apparitions very well, and I have moments in which I hardly remember anything at all . . . Concerning what you now ask me, I do remember that I received in the mail a letter addressed to me and the other three girls: Jacinta, Mari Loli and Mari Cruz. I was surprised by what it said; and as it was unsigned, I kept it in my pocket until the time of the apparition. When the Blessed Mother appeared, I showed her the letter . . . and I asked her whom it was from. The Blessed Mother answered that it came from Padre Pio.”
Glenn, With March slipping away, I believe it is highly unlikely that the Miracle will occur this April since the Warning has yet to occur. Is it possible to ascertain the next probable year for the Miracle? I'm at peace but there are those I know who are overly wound up.
Things will get so bad we will get on our knees and beg for God to intervene with the Warning. 'When things are at their worst'.
Many believe the Warning is coming this year, and the Miracle April 11, 2025. There is a Eucharistic martyr who died when he was 33 years old, and that date is his feast day. Apparently he wasn’t Spanish, he was Catalan.
Mari Loli said the Warning was in an "even year", so take that into account. Also 33 is way too old for the "young martyr of the Eucharist. Here is Conchita's description: “The Miracle will be on the feastday of a young martyr of the Eucharist, a boy who carried Communion to persecuted Christians. “His companions, on seeing him pass by, wanted to force him to stay and take part in their games. Infuriated by his resistance, they ended up hurling stones at him until he was left almost dead. Later a Christian soldier came, who recognized him and carried him in his arms. “ She Went in Haste to the Mountain”, Book 3,Chapter 7 , pg.146
The Message and the Fulfillment Fr. Joseph Pelletier: “ God is talking to us today through the mother of Jesus. He is telling us that Mary's role under Christ is unique. She is not just another saint. Devotion to her is not simply to a saint of our choice. She has a very special place in God's Redemptive plan. It is important that we recognize this. This is one of the reasons why she was sent to us at Garabandal.” “NEEDLES” magazine WINTER issue 1972, page 9
Mario, I have had to tell people nicely, not just ask, to stop asking me questions about it. I wont even discuss it. There is always this, well, couldn't this happen or this?? I just say if God wills it. It affects our brains, our soul. I try to stay in the day because life is hard enough.
This saint seems to be Saint Tarcissus but his commemoration is on August 15? What do you think of this idea? Do you have any other theories? thanks for the work
Here is an article about Saint Tarcisius and Garabandal https://maryourlady.com/2018/02/15/garabandal-great-miracle-saint-tarcisius-feast-day/ He also has two feast days, April 26th and August 15th. You can only seem to find his April feast day when you type his name in Italian, San Tarsicio. https://www.corazones.org/santos/tarsicio.htm
The Blessed Mother speaks of Abortion at Garabandal "Before, the cup was filling up. Now it is flowing over." She [Conchita] spoke quite openly about the developments by which men in the near future would rebel against God. On the day after Our Lady's last appearance at Garabandal, Conchita asked the author, "Can you imagine how somebody could kill children in the womb without thereby killing the mother?" The author spontaneously answered, "No! What gave you that idea, Conchita?" "Well, the Blessed Mother spoke about this and she let me know that this will happen with the overflowing of the chalice." [In her second Message of June 18,1965, the Virgin said, "Before, the cup was filling up. Now it is flowing over."] Conchita said this tremblingly without being able to visualize what it really implied. She said further that it disturbed her very much but that she felt ridiculous because she hadn't understood at all how this killing could be effected. The Blessed Virgin had not explained it to her and up until that moment, nobody had been able to make her understand it at all. Conchita would learn soon enough when abortion became legalized, even in her native country. The Blessed Virgin had spoken about this unfortunate practice to the visionary, in terms that had left her stunned. Indeed, at the time, (Conchita was only 16 ) Conchita did not understand "how it was possible to kill a child in his (or hers) mother's womb without killing the mother at the same time . . .!"
