Today in Garabandal history AUGUST 18, 1961: DEPTH OF PRAYER AT SAN SEBASTIAN DE GARABANDAL "Prayer holds an important place in Garabandal. Magnificent, varied, profound, it runs through the "events" on the whole as never in any other great Marian Apparition . . . . The girls devoted a great deal of their time to prayer. What is especially striking is the quality of their ecstatic prayer: a meditation filled with presence, moved to the extreme; a slow, poised recitation inspiring the full meaning of words as simple as "Mary," "blessed," "grace," "Jesus." " (Robert Francois Turner, 'I, Your Mother,' ch. 18). The children spontaneously recited first the Rosary, then the Litanies, the Creed, the Our Father, the Salve Regina, in short what they knew. The Blessed Virgin had taught the visionaries all these prayers and, then, had gradually helped the girls to pronounce them clearly. So, on this August 18, the first thing Our Lady undertook was to recite the rosary with them: "I'll start the prayer and you will answer, very slowly," She suggested to the children. The visionaries postures induced the crowds to be quiet and recollected. "They would fall on their knees in the tiniest fraction of a second, sometimes adopting an overwhelming attitude of petition, their faces turned to heaven" . "To sing is to pray twice over" . . . The children improvised various hymns. From their songs there emanated a strange meekness and always a beautiful harmony. The Blessed Virgin taught the girls to make correctly the various signs of the cross used in Spain. They made them with unmatched dignity. Many films testify to this. Today in Garabandal history, August 19,1961 The Blessed Virgin Mary kisses the girls for the first time. Individual ecstasies begin to occur. Conchita revealed : “ Up to then, in all the ecstasies, we have been the four together. Jacinta, Mary Cruz, Mary Loli, and myself. But then we started to have ecstasies separately, each one in her home. And so the Most Holy Virgin called us even though we were not together but separated. SATURDAY, AUGUST 19, 1961: "GAMES" OF THE VISIONARIES IN ECSTASY. The Blessed Virgin played hide-and-go-seek several times with the children, something that amused them a great deal. Conchita in ecstasy presents her doll to her Vision. Can you imagine ? How wonderful a Mother we have that in the midst of having to teach these girls so many things of great importance, she would actually take the time to play with them ! How blessed we are to have such a loving Mother in Heaven.

Why does it matter who created the thread? I have seen Glenn updating it daily since the time I joined the board. He has been very dependable and I appreciate that, I have learned a great deal about Garabandal thanks to his dedication.
Glenn I extend to you thanks...I am once again a Garabandal believer. You see...I often struggle between the heart and the head. I have been favored with great protection by the Virgin Mother even though I labor in great ignorance. She has saved me from myself though her Son Jesus. I am eternally grateful. I thank you for your part.

OK, after speaking with Padraig and I brought in a professional computer company to overhaul and protect my computer,plus changing all my passwords to complex ones, we feel 100% safe. He has asked me to continue rebuilding this site, with all my protected 600+ files ,so that there will still be a thread you can access for information. ( the original site may not be recovered). As unfortunate as this past event was, there are greater tragedies in the world right now, so lets move on and continue our Lady's work. But first, we must lead good lives. If we do not, a chastisement will befall us. The cup is already filling up, and if we do not change, a very great chastisement will come upon us." 2nd message:June 18, 1965-- “As my message of October 18 has not been complied with and has not been made known to the world, I am advising you that this is the last one. Before, the cup was filling up. Now it is flowing over. Many cardinals, many bishops and many priests are on the road to perdition and are taking many souls with them. Less and less importance is being given to the Eucharist. You should turn the wrath of God away from yourselves by your efforts. If you ask His forgiveness with sincere hearts, He will pardon you. I, your mother, through the intercession of Saint Michael the Archangel, ask you to amend your lives. You are now receiving the last warnings. I love you very much and do not want your condemnation. Pray to us with sincerity and we will grant your requests. You should make more sacrifices. Think about the passion of Jesus.”

GARABANDAL - IMPORTANT DATES June 18,1961 -1st appearance of St. Michael July 2, 1961 - St. Michael appears with the Blessed Mother (her 1st ) July 31,1961 - the girls in ecstasy , move on the rocks on their knees, and also recite the rosary, without having learned it,without rosary beads, and without making mistakes regarding the “Mysteries”. August 8, 1961 - Fr. Luis Andreau has a vision of Mary,and is shown the “great Miracle”. He yells “ Miracle” 4 times. Later that night he dies on the way home. August 19 ,1961 The girls are 1st kissed by Mary. Oct. 18, 1961 - 1st Message given by St. Michael (from Mary ) June 19 & 20 1962 - the “2 nights of horror”, where the girls are shown the future possible “Chastisement”. June 22, 1962 - St.Michael tells Conchita that there will be a miracle of a “ Visable Host”, and she will announce it 15 days in advance. July 3, 1962 - Conchita announces the Visable host will appear in 15 days. July 18, 1962 - at about 1 am, the host appears on Conchita’s tongue out of thin air, and is caught on film. February, 1963 - Joey Lomangino goes to confession to Padre Pio, and asks if the apparitions are true in Garabandal, and Padre Pio says “ Yes”, and Joey goes to Garabandal and becomes friends with Conchita. March 18,1964 - Conchita speaks to Mary and the Blessed Mother tells her that Joey will receive his “new eyes” on the day of the great “ Miracle”. July 18,1964 - Conchita is told that the body of the Fr. Luis Andreau (who died on August 8,1961) will be found incorrupt,the day after the “ Miracle”. January 1, 1965 - Mary tells Conchita at the Pines, about the “Warning”. June 18 1965 - St. Michael appears at the same spot he did 4 years ago and delivers Mary’s 2nd message. Nov. 13,1965 - Mary appears for the last time, holding the child Jesus (to Conchita alone). She kisses religious objects, tells Conchita “to visit her Son in the tabernacle, where he waits for us”, tells Conchita she can not be brought to Heaven right now because “her hands must be filled with deeds, and now her hands are empty”.
