Wow! I am so sorry. I thought she was for real. This is extremely disturbing. I have her blue book, but couldn’t finish it. Nonetheless, what I read wasn’t a problem. I know so many who love her so much. They are humble and extremely good people. So sad. Could Fr Gobbi’s locutions also be from the evil one? I read his entire book and loved it.

 

As far as I know Fr Gobbi's writings are in good standing. In other words they do not contradict faith or morals. But the Church did not want his writings to be considered supernatural.

 

Good news! Cause I read it and saw nothing wrong with it at all.

 

I loved it. And Fr Roux who was the head of the movement for years resides here in Maine. A very holy priest.

 

Ok, AED, I just received a message from one of the Luisa Picaretta fans. And she tells me this priest is not to be trusted. He doesn’t believe any Pope after Vatican II is a Pope, and has criticized St Faustina. Is there any truth to this?

 

Do we know for sure this was her diary?

 

Does Fr Mawdsley have a bishop or is he a free lance priest without accountability?

Oh no, here we go! The supporters of LP will shoot the Messenger, Fr Mawdsley. Fr may have some ideas about the validity of the current Pope, like many people, and Im sure I would not agree with him on certain other (unrelated) matters, but the offending texts were lifted directly from Daniel O 'Connors' website, Daniel said so on one of his ranting rebuttal / response videos

and the texts speak for themselves.

The texts condemn themselves.

It would not matter who was reading them. They were written by LP and they are pornographic, disgusting, and blasphemous,

and they scandalise the Faithful

and they denigrate the Blessed Virgin Mary and turn Our Lord into an Incubus Demon who molests the so called Servant of God.

And St Joseph is demoted also. And LP is elevated to the highest heights.

And the Angels and Saints and Our Lady are heard to be demanding "Crucify Him, Crucify him!"

This horrible so called devotion is indeed a scream from Hell.

This will turn into a thread of contention. Perhaps it would be better to shut it down and lock it up, Padraig ?

 

Just asking legitimate questions about Fr Mawdsley. He appears to be a free lance priest unconnected to a bishop. That's a problem in my opinion irrespective of the crisis in the Church.

Would like to know his real status because it seems to me he threw the baby out with the bath water.

Perhaps you are in a position to bring clarity to this matter?

 

100% agree with you. HORRID! But do we know for sure that this is LP’s true diary or could it be a fake?

 

Can we prove this is LP’s true diary? I ask this humbly, because those who I know who are ardent LP believers are so holy. One of them is a most remarkable mystic exorcist priest. They will be crushed to find out this information.

 

The texts were lifted off of Daniel's website. I know this is hard Byron, and it might take some time to accept it. Indeed, it will be like trying to break away from a cult. God Bless you, Lets all pray for those who have invested hope and faith in this.

 

Some will be crushed, yes, but there will be others who will not let go and will insist on finding ways to justify the writings.

When the third video comes out, hopefully in afew days, we will learn more of the origins of this, I believe, and we will get to the root of the matter.

No need to put down all those fine people. They are wonderful. Are we going to shut out all our friends and family members for not listening to us about Regnum Christi? Let’s be prudent, and cautious, but most importantly Christian like. People make mistakes. It doesn’t mean they are wrong about their faith. Xavier Ayral has done a wonderful job on writing an excellent book on all the signs and apparitions. And Christine Watkins, as well. Garabandal may not be approved, yet, but, I find Conchita to be a faithful Catholic. Sorry if there are any errors to my comments, but I’m walking my dog, while I write this.

 

Am I the only one who respects those people just listed, Divine Will supporters, more than Fr Maudesley, who is very new to most of us here? There are difficult passages in every major text of Christianity, especially the Bible, and parts that we can all take out of context too etc. I am not going to throw over people like Daniel O'Connor (who obviously knew about those passages) as quickly as some seem to be doing...

 

Have you watched Fr. Mawdsley's videos yet? They are long and fairly detailed, so that takes a while. He puts the text up on the screen and refers to colored sections of text as he discusses it. His presentation is more like a teacher's in a classroom than that of the other, more emotive promoters of Luisa. Or like a lawyer presenting a case.

 

The diary is not in dispute by D OConnor. He simply feels they must be read mysticallynot literally. I cannot read them in either context. They are disturbing. I can't "unhear" those texts. Truly horrible.

I come back to my original place which is to adhere only to approved apparitions. Period. That is the safest thing. For me anyway.
As for Fr Mawdsley I am very sorry his situation is so irregular. I hope he will rectify that soon. I pray he will. His status does not negate the troubling writings of Luisa Piccaretta. I respect all those who follow her like Frances Hogan and Fr Blount but that is now inspite of their devotion to DW and not because of it.i am disturbed by their embrace of it but that is between them and God. May we all stay on the right path by God's grace.

I sincerely hope this will not be another ugly controversy. Best to shut down this thread in that case. I only started it to prepare /warn anyone for the shock of those diary pages Brian posted from Fr Mawdsley. I am sincerely sorry for stirring things up.
