Yes, I started watching Daniel's video but turned it off as he seemed just very emotional and lashing out. I'll continue watching to see if he actually addresses the troublesome passages in a convincing way.

A reminder of the danger of getting so heavily invested in a private revelation that doesn't have the approval of the Church. How do you dig yourself back out again?

 

I watched for just a few minutes. Daniel came across as condescending. As AED said, his anger was palpable. To me it was not righteous anger as much as it seemed to come from pride. When he brought up blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, I felt I had had enough.

 

I didn’t watch all of Fr Mawdesley’s video. After a few minutes I’d had enough. I had the feeling that LP was a childless woman who may have longed for a child. Very sad, and the devil took advantage of her.

 

The problem is that he is such a public figure. Most of us can just go to
Confession and leave the DW stuff alone.

 

That was my experience too. A few minutes and I was pretty put off and disturbed. I turned it off.. Poor woman. Fr Mawdsley feels she was taken in and abused by an extremely subtle demon.

 

And Christine Watkins, if Im not mistaken And Christine Bacon. And Fr Jim Blount, And Xavier Reyes - Ayral. And Monique and freinds of Mother and Refuge of the end times. And others ?

I am trying to make a mental list in my mind of all who jumped on this bandwagon so that I can stop listening to them. Now I understand why Christine Watkins called her website " Countdown to the KINGDOM".

I havnt slept well since Fr Mawdsleys first expose of this but Im very thankful he has done this.

 

Yes. This needed to be known. Sadly Frances Hogan is a big proponent also.

 

Yes and Hugh Owen, the Creationist, seemed to get into it quite early, some years back. I am very sad about the whole thing. But I no longer want anything to do with those " internet influencers " who led people down this garden path to Hell.

 

Yes, there is a hugely tragic component to all of this.

Yes, the pages / passages were lifted directly off of Daniels website. D. says so himself in one of his ranting rebutting response videos , ( the first one, i believe). So he knew all about the passages but was refusing to see the obscene nature of the passages and was seemingly expecting everyone of his audience to aquiesque.

 

He needs to retire/ retreat into solitude now, and do penance for his part in leading good Catholic people badly astray. Leading people into a cult. As do the others who promoted it to many many people through their vast audiences.

We must pray for the Church as a whole (not just the Korean Bishops), to declare that this is a FRAUD and BAN the books and the Cenacles and the prayer groups.

This is a disaster.

 

It is by no means complete and I hope I have not been mistaken in any, but this is my memory of it.

I could add Fr Celso and Fr Iannuzzi. I have not followed either of them.

I know Fr Chris Alar invited Daniel to speak and debate with him awhile back. which I thought was extremely imprudent at the time. But I believe Fr Chris will be sure to see that that was a mistake and say something publicly about it.

I'm certain the "diabolical origins" video will spark an outpouring of anger, maybe more so than the first video did. Father has not indicated when he'll drop that. I'm sure BrianK will post that in the two other threads.
