My favourite Jewish convert of all time is Roy Schoeman who was an atheist Professor at Harvard before meeting Our Lady. He is just wonderful . So humble although he has brains to burn. I have to say our Catholic view of the Jews who refuse to accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour has to be very,very,very different than the Protestant Evangelical one. Either people accept Jesus or they do not. The Jews accept Jesus or they do not. The Jews do not accept Jesus and that is that. Acceptance of Jesus is not some kind of optional bolt on extra, in order to be saved we have to accept Jesus as Our Lord and Saviour. There is no way round this. Scripture and the Teachings of the Church are very clear about it. This goes for Jews just as it does for everyone else.
I think Christ makes it very clear in his teachings. John 8 v31-32: To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. A Jew who accepts Christ is a messianic Jew and therefore is a fulfilled Jew. To the Jews who do not believe in Christ - John 8v40-47 “If you were Abraham’s children,” said Jesus, “then you would do what Abraham did. As it is, you are looking for a way to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Abraham did not do such things. You are doing the works of your own father.” “We are not illegitimate children,” they protested. “The only Father we have is God himself.” Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me. Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don’t you believe me? Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.” Strong stuff! But God still has a plan for the Jews to bring them into the sheepfold of the true faith when the recognise Christ as the Messiah. Then they will be fulfilled Jews. St Paul: 'Lest you be wise in your own sight, I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery, brothers: a partial hardening has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in' (Romans 1v25)
I am not 'clutching my pearls' nor having a 'fit of the vapours' unlike the thousands of politicians and demonstrators demanding an immediate ceasefire. Hamas HAD a ceasefire and chose to break it in the most appalling way possible (read the accounts of what was shown on the 'go-pro' videos carried by the Palestinians who invaded Israel - it was barbaric in the true sense of the word.) What is happening now is terrible but was totally predictable considering the actions of the invaders and was CLEARLY intended by Hamas and its Iranian funders. Selectivity in sympathy for refugees being bombed is astonishing. Turkey bombed Kurdish refugee camps in Syria because it believed that Kurds were responsible for bombings in Turkey and the world totally ignores it, no demonstrations, no UN resolutions, no protests. The Turks actually sought to kill innocent civilians, the Israelis are dealing with a vicious (freely elected) terrorist group on its own doorstep.
Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said on Thursday that Israel has killed over 25,000 Palestinian women and children in Gaza since October 7. When asked how many women and children have been killed during a House Armed Services Committee, Austin replied, "It’s over 25,000." The number is higher than the estimate that’s been put out by Gaza’s Health Ministry. Austin, a former Raytheon board member, also said the US had provided Israel with 21,000 munitions since October 7 to support the massacre, which does not include the American-provided bombs Israel was already armed with, as it receives $3.8 billion in military aid from the US each year. The works show which "God" they worship!!
The Ashkenazi jews run most of the porn on the Internet. Generally speaking they are behind a lot of the evil in the world today. If you start to look around Biden's folks you'll notice a trend. They are (heritage) Russian Jews, Ukrainian Jews, Lithuanian Jews, etc. They are Ashkenazi. Hillary Clinton's grandfather was a Russian Born jew. Am I saying all Ashkenazi are evil. By no means am I saying this. But people like Vicky Nuland (jewish family kicked out of Odessa for their Trotsky'ish tendencies) aren't good people. I wish they'd get the hell out of our government and go pariah somebody else. The Ashkenazi are the ultimate cow bird. I tend to think of Revelation 3:9 when I think of them. Israel I believe is comprised mostly of Ashkenazi jews. Their place of origin was (roughly speaking) Ukraine. But, God will deal with them as he sees fit. If they are the chosen people so be it. Honestly I think God was speaking about the non Ashkenazi jews.
