and as I said previously, Jews are not exempt from the obligation to recognize the Son of God as their savior in order to obtain the grace of being saved.

The problem is that the Jewish lobby influenced the Second Vatican Council and the replacement theory. The main thesis of their activity was that the Catholic Church is the one that causes anti-Semitism and that it must change towards the Jews and that the conversion of Jews to Christianity is a type of anti-Semitism.
I can even put chronologically how the sequence of events went, but it is evident that they participated from the inside through Jewish priests within the Catholic Church, and through liberal Jesuits, some of whom advocated the later ordination of women and the marriage of priests.

Following an approach by Jules Isaac, a French-born Jew who was associated with the Seelisberg Conference of the International Council of Christians and Jews, in which he claimed that what he called "Christian antisemitism" had prepared the way for the Holocaust, a sympathetic Pope John XXIII endorsed the creation of a document which would address a new, less adversarial approach to the relationship between the Catholic Church and Rabbinic Judaism. Within the Church, conservative Cardinals were suspicious and Middle Eastern Catholics strongly opposed the creation of such a document.

Jewish organisations such as the American Jewish Committee, B'nai B'rith, and the World Jewish Congress also lobbied for their side with the assistance of liberal clergymen

1959- Pope John XXIII (Roncalli) had removed from the Good Friday prayer for the Jews the term "perfidious" (meaning faithless)

13 June 1960- meeting between Pope John XXIII and Jewish-French historian Jules Isaac had a long history of activism in regards to Jewish ethno-religious concerns, he had been part of the left-wing group CVIA and after the war he had founded. Isaac had laid out his central thesis that, the "most dangerous form of anti-semitism is Christian anti-semitism", which he treats not as a peripheral anomaly, but inherent in its origins, from the Passion as described by the Four Evangelists in the Gospels, through the Church Fathers to the present day. Isaac's solution to this was that Christianity must "amend" its beliefs, expunge from its doctrines any "teachings of contempt" which present Rabbinic Judaism as rejected or inferior and adopt a new relationship with Jews.

1960- John XXIII had created the Secretariat for Promoting Christian Unity (SECU). his organisation was to be headed up by Cardinal Augustin Bea, a veteran German Jesuit cleric, with Bishop Johannes Willebrands, a Dutch clergyman, appointed as his Secretary. The body was developed to address the relationship between the Catholic Church and other separate groups who identified as Christians.

1960- Bea sought outside opinion from Jewish figureheads for Dei Judaeis and was advised to approach Nahum Goldmann, president of the World Jewish Congress. The two men met in Autumn 1960.
Similarly, within the Catholic Church itself, conservative elements in the Curia and the Doctrinal Commission (with figures such as Cardinal Alfredo Ottaviani and Fr. Sebastian Tromp) were opposed to the works of the SECU, due to what they viewed as the threat to Catholic doctrine by religious indifferentism.

1961- Cardinal Bea openly met with Ralph Friedman and Zacariah Shuster[17] of the American Jewish Committee at Rome in 1961, inviting them to submit a memorandum on anti-Jewish elements in Catholic textbooks and liturgy, outlining the changes to Church teachings and practices that they wanted the planned Council to implement

The AJC responded to the SECU with two documents:

"The Image of the Jew in Catholic Teaching"
    "Anti-Jewish Elements in Catholic Liturgy"

1961- Bea also agreed to meet with Abraham Joshua Heschel of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America and Max Horkheimer of the Frankfurt School in November 1961 to discuss new Church approaches to the Jews.

    Working underneath Bea were four clerics;
John M. Oesterreicher- a Catholic theologian who was born to a Jewish family. Oesterreicher was strongly pro-Israel and advocated improved relations between Catholics and the Jewish state.

Gregory Baum - was a German-born Canadian priest and theologian in the Catholic Church born to a jewish mother..A strong supporter of gays and lesbians in the Church, Baum had been aware since adolescence of his own attraction to men. After moving to Montreal in 1986, he fell in love with a former priest

Bruno Hussar- a jewish dominican priest who died in Israel and was a strong supporter of Zionism.

Georges Tavard- religious order Augustinians of the assumption. Tavard raised the issue of women's roles within the Catholic Church in his 1973 book, Women in Christian Tradition, one of the first major theologians to do so. While he remained a part of the minority for his view that women needed a bigger role in the Catholic Church, he insisted that the ordination of women was not only fair but also necessary to the survival of the church..

n June 1962- the World Jewish Congress, acting on its own initiative, appointed Dr. Chaim Wardi, an Israeli counsellor in the Israeli Ministry of Religious Affairs, as an "unofficial Jewish observer" at the council.

31 March 1963; Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel became the primary figure articulating the religious Jewish viewpoint to the Vatican on behalf of the American Jewish Committee during the Second Vatican Council.

The main aims of Heschel and the Jewish side had been to encourage the alteration of the Catholic presentation of Jewish responsibility in regards to the trial and crucifixion of Jesus Christ . And in addition to this, the Jewish side wanted a stop to any efforts; whether peaceful or not; at converting Jews to Christianity.

In addition to this, the Magisterium of the Catholic Church traditionally affirmed Extra Ecclesiam nulla salus and that the covenant with God, since Jesus Christ was exclusively with the Christians and that the Catholic Church is the New Israel (superseding any ancestry-based Old Covenant; rendering Jewish rites null and void). These teachings had passed down through the Gospels, many Church Fathers, Doctors of the Church and Ecumenical Councils over numerous centuries

The church is truly the new Israel; we are drawn to the God of Abraham through acceptance of the Son of God; This is an indisputable truth and it would be absurd to describe this as anti-Semitism. However, there is a central role of the Jewish people in Christian eschatology that makes it a kind of prophetic clock like Rome; Mother and Teacher of Truth.

Salvation is from Jesus. Jesus’ ethnicity is Jewish. But salvation is guaranteed for Jews and Gentiles. That is the Good News.

The church is not Israel. The church is Jesus and his bride is Christianity. He founded the church. The Holy Catholic Church and Jesus are a marriage. The bridegroom and the bride. Some will choose not to be a part of the wedding. Jesus feeds his bride the Holy Eucharist that is why the two are United as one.

'...salvation is guaranteed for Jews and Gentiles'.

    ????
I may misunderstand, but where is this found in the Teachings of the Church and Scripture? That Salvation is, 'Guaranteed', for Jews and Christians?
Why then would Paul urge us to work out our Salvation in fear and trembling if we are, 'guaranteed' Salvation?

“Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure."

    Phillipians 2:12

'For us Catholics, salvation isn’t assured until we die and get to heaven, and as long as we are here on earth, we can always fall into serious sin or even fall away from the faith entirely and lose the eternal life we currently possess. However, for many (but not all) Protestants, salvation is assured right from the start. They say that once someone believes and is justified, their ticket to heaven is guaranteed.

Now, there are numerous Scripture passages that support the Catholic view on this question (for example, Romans 11:17-22, 1 Corinthians 9:24-27, and Galatians 5:19-21). The New Testament writers warn their readers again and again about the possibility of losing their salvation, so at first glance, it is tough to see how anybody can disagree with us about this.

If salvation was only for the Jews you would not qualify. That would be bad news.

    Go for it.

    Romans 11:
17 If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, 18 do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you. 19 You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.” 20 Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but tremble. 21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either.

22 Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off.

    1 Corinthians 9:24-27

    The Need for Self-Discipline
24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. 26 Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. 27 No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

    Galatians 5:19-21

19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Some misguided biblical skeptics contend that “the Jesus of Matthew” is utterly unconcerned with non-Jews (Gentiles). This is a ludicrous opinion. A clear instance in Matthew of Jesus’ outreach beyond the Jews is His interaction with the Roman centurion:

Matthew 8:5-13 (RSV) As he entered Caper’na-um, a centurion came forward to him, beseeching him [6] and saying, “Lord, my servant is lying paralyzed at home, in terrible distress.” [7] And he said to him, “I will come and heal him.” [8] But the centurion answered him, “Lord, I am not worthy to have you come under my roof; but only say the word, and my servant will be healed. [9] For I am a man under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to one, `Go,’ and he goes, and to another, `Come,’ and he comes, and to my slave, `Do this,’ and he does it.” [10] When Jesus heard him, he marveled, and said to those who followed him, “Truly, I say to you, not even in Israel have I found such faith. [11] I tell you, many will come from east and west and sit at table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven, [12] while the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness; there men will weep and gnash their teeth.” [13] And to the centurion Jesus said, “Go; be it done for you as you have believed.” And the servant was healed at that very moment.

I am afraid we appear to be at Cross purposes. I am afraid I do not understand your argument. I do not understand what you have written confirms that Jews and Gentiles are, 'Guaranteed' Salvation?

How does this text confirm this?

I can understand how Salvation is offered to both Gentiles and Jews alike. That goes without saying; but how does it , 'Guarantee', it? Don't both Jews and Gentiles alike have the choice of refusing this Salvation and didn't and don't many of them do so?

How then can there be a , 'Guarantee'?

Paul for instance specifically refers to the fact that the Jews refused this Salvation in that they rejected Christ.

This is the definition of a gentile. One who is not Jewish.
Gentile (/ˈdʒɛntaɪl/) is a word that usually means "someone who is not a Jew".[1] Other groups that claim Israelite heritage, notably Mormons, have historically used the term gentile to describe outsiders.[2][3][4] More rarely, the term is used as a synonym for heathen or pagan.[4] As a term used to describe non-members of a religious/ethnic group, gentile is sometimes compared to words used to describe the "outgroup" in other cultures[5] (see List of terms for ethnic

That means Gentiles can be saved and get to heaven. It is not reserved just for Jews. So the heading Salvation is from the Jews is misleading. Salvation is from Jesus whose ethnicity is Jewish. Salvation is for gentile and Jew.

Of course, that goes without question. But how is such Salvation as you say, 'Guaranteed'? When we have all of us the free will to reject it?

'And if you accept Jesus you are guaranteed salvation'.

This is not Catholic teaching, it is Protestant. We are not guaranteed Salvation by Faith alone. Accepting Jesus does not guarantee salvation. The Catholic position is that we are Justified by Faith and Works. Not by Faith alone.
