Its a quote from a novel about the French Revolution. Its meant to be joke. The Scarlet Pimpernel ( really an English marquis) would put on disguises and rescue those condemned to the guillotine. He called himself The Scarlet Pimpernel. The revolutionries could never catch him. This the little jingle about him. Padraig is saying Dolores is elusive...maybe here under another name. Donna left us in some anger against the attitude of many here toward the covid vaccine--as I recall.
Hello dear Padraig, thank you for this post of yours which sounds highly interesting. The video you had linked is gone. Do you remember what you were alluding to - I know it was three years ago. Yes, the 'lockdowns' have separated the wheat from the chaff. We could clearly see where everybody stands. Among the holy priests, brothers and nuns as well as the laity, some have come out as heroes. A prophetic dream, prophetic at the personal level, it seems. A little miracle. It has stayed with you all your life, as you are continuing to walk on the tightrope. How is your son, AED? I think we need to offer prayers and fasting for our kids. I really struggle with fasting, I am so weak and given to comfort food. Oh no, this is heartbreaking to hear. How are you Adoremus, haven't heard from you for a long time. How is your son?
Thank you, @AED. I had searched @Donna259's profile, and the most recent post I found was from August 2022 about the good thief Saint Dismas and Divine Mercy. As I vaguely remembered that she was experiencing some health problems, I was worried about her absence.
I am sure Dolours has a right laugh to herself reading this thread. It kinda spoils my fun knowing who she is. It reminds me of an old Board Game we used to play at Christmas.
I'm still here, just not posting very much as I don't have a lot to say these days. Thank you for asking! My son is doing great in the worldly sense but in terms of faith...
