He could have easily gotten special clearance by ukraine to fly over kyiv. Looks like he wants to send telegrams from air to russia and ukraine on return like he did with China on flight in
Well now the flight path has completely changed and it appears he will fly over Chinese airspace as previously specified. So I guess that ends all speculation
Next speculation will probably be what happens with October synod. Can't see pope getting to moscow anytime soon, this would have been his one great chance this yr
More frequent Ukrainian attacks on Moscow make a visit more difficult at this time. In addition to probably increasing the pressure on Putin to use nuclear weapons since even though the war has not "officially" reached Russia, these more frequent attacks constitute a psychological war that could undermine the popularity of Putin within his country.
There have been multiple drone attacks on Moscow in the last few months. But, perhaps this is the catalyst?

I'm not so sure the warning is that close after pope goes to moscow. Prophecy was that hostilities would break out after pope goes to moscow, in other words the likely start of a great tribulation period. It was never said this tribulation would only last a month or two, it could easily last multiple years, i think that is even likely. But we shall see.
We are always getting it wrong. In 1914 it was thought the war would be over by Christmas. WWII was essentially finished in two days, August 6 and 9, Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
