If it is "nasty" to defend what I believe is one of God's true messengers, then nasty I am! God formed me to defend what I believe to be true and I hope one day, if required, I can continue to defend God's truth and thus his prophets, like His apostles did till their death. God knows I have discerned and he will be the only one to judge me for what I say and do. I am not concerned about the naysayers or what criticism they have of me, as they too will have to answer to God for what they say and do. We won't have long to wait to see it all unfold now and for His prophets, His messengers, to be vindicated. Wait, watch and see. I am at peace through it all.

"so far not". How can you be sure that this isn't the one where you can no longer say that? And you can only speak for yourself. Have others here supported seers, etc. whose prophecies have not come true or who have been shown to have made a lot of money out of their warnings/visions/locutions?

For my part a declaration of "worthy of belief" by the appropriate Church authority is the guideline. And I apologise to nobody for sticking to that guideline. Does it mean trusting in possibly bad bishops? Yes, but it also means trusting in the promise Jesus gave to the Church. So, for me, it's ultimately trust in Jesus even when all around me could be falling apart.

This is a public forum with a fair amount of freedom of speech. Anyone who wants to promote their favourite seers without questions or disagreements from others should start a blog or website where they can control the input. Isn't that what Countdown to the Kingdom website is doing? I don't know for sure because I haven't bothered to look at it.

I know, Byron, that your intentions are honourable. Not for a second would I suggest otherwise, and I apologise if I gave you that impression.

I watched the video until she got to the part about Luz de Maria having Bishop approval. I did so despite her seeming to suggest early in the video that following the teaching of the Church isn't good enough. She seemed to be lumping with Bible Alone Protestants Catholics who believe that public revelation is finished and they can't go wrong with sticking to Church teaching.

I'm bowing out of this thread now. I wish you all well.

Dolours she does have approval from her Bishop.
The messages have been gathered into a book entitled, Thy Kingdom Come, and on March 19, 2017, Juan Abelardo Mata Guevara, SDB, Titular Bishop of Estelí, Nicaragua, granted them the Imprimatur of the Church. His letter began:

Estelí, Nicaragua, Year of Our Lord, March 19 of 2017

Solemnity of the Patriarch Saint Joseph

The volumes that contain “PRIVATE REVELATION” from heaven, given to Luz de María from the year 2009 to the present time, have been given to me for the respective ecclesiastic approval. I have reviewed with faith and interest these volumes entitled, THY KINGDOM COME, and have come to conclusion that they are a call to humanity to return to the path that leads to eternal life, and that these messages are an exhortation from heaven in these times in which man must be careful not to stray from the Divine Word.

In each revelation given to Luz de María, Our Lord Jesus Christ and the Blessed Virgin Mary guide the steps, the work, and the actions of the people of God in these times in which humanity needs to return to the teachings contained in Holy Scripture.

The messages in these volumes are a treatise of spirituality, divine wisdom, and morality for those who welcome them with faith and humility, so I recommend them for you to read, meditate upon, and put into practice.

I DECLARE that I have not found any doctrinal error that attempts against the faith, morality and good habits, for which I grant these publications the IMPRIMATUR. Together with my blessing, I express my best wishes for the “Words of Heaven” contained here to resonate in every creature of good will. I ask the Virgin Mary, Mother of God and Our Mother, to intercede for us so that the will of God be fulfilled

“. . . on Earth as it is in heaven (Mt, 6:10).”

Many are those today who would have been one of those mocking Bernadette at Lourdes when she was digging in the dirt and eating the roots of the plants......laughing, doubting and mocking her as they walked away......... and then coming back to the spring waters that flowed from the spot she was told to eat of the roots, to see what they refused to discern before. Even her priest doubted her, just as the children of Fatima were at first doubted by their priest. After all they did not have their "bishops approval" before they choose to adhere to heaven's messages, right? And one could go on and on in the history of the Church of how much these messengers of God's word were put through by the naysayers, whether it was from the laity, priest or bishop. Why should anyone think it different this time?????

It’s ok Dolours you are not comfortable. It’s ok. But for me it just opens up a piece of heaven. I’m so eager to go there, that listening to testimonies makes me feel close to him. And close to my mom who I lost years ago, and miss her everyday. She was such a believer of Garabandal. She would have loved Fr Michel’s joy, and sense of humor.

  10. Huh? I replied to your request and apparently you don't like such replies that don't fit into your personal desire of wording now.

"And you can only speak for yourself". Um, well, yeah. That's what you asked for.....

    Some people are never satisfied.

  11. Back in 2004, in Canada. And the Bishop says he wasn't aware of Fr. M's talks since they were only in the U.S.?

That will be a great blessing and bring great graces. I will pray a rosary for this intention but can’t kneel. Thank you. This is Our Lady’s forum.

I honestly dont know why I keep reading this thread. I get that many of you here like and support Fr Michel. I like him too. His talks are compelling but I choose to pull back since the Bishop's letter. That is not calumny. That is not calling him a liar. That is simply following the protocals of the magisterium. Fr Michel would be the first to understand. The rancor I see here is very disturbing.

  15. That is uncharitable at best.

Does anyone believe God calls us to assume bad things about each other?

Why in the world would you say such a thing to Dolours. Reread what you just wrote. Surely you do not mean to say these things. This is very ugly. Very ugly. I'm off this thread.
    Peace out.

It wasn't directed at any one person, but at all who continue to discredit God's prophet's! It has always been this way and I have made my point by looking back at what they did to all God's messengers, even his own Son, throughout history past, recent and present. Christians should know better. We are told within scripture to "not despise prophecy" yet no one, no one, has suggested one thing ever said by Father Michel as being contrary to scripture or church teaching, yet he takes a beating here on this forum by more than a few. Why? Does anyone believe this is the will of God? I am open to being corrected, but not by naysayers when I and a few others remain open to hear God's alleged prophets of these most critical times prophecised in 6000 years of human history. Why anyone Christian would do this to God's prophets is the real question to be asked. If his bishop needs time to discern that is fine, but it does not mean that we can't continue to speak to what he has shared with all who have ears to hear without constant negative attacks on him by some on this forum.

I feel the same. It’s really difficult for me to believe the Bishop too. My niece who lives in Toronto and married into a very Catholic family has told us Fr Michel is loved by her husbands family. They’ve known him for years. Her husbands uncle, or great uncle, was Padre Pio’s assistant. They are a very wealthy prominent family from Canada. All of them are professionals. None of them are crazy.

I'm asking all of us here on this MofG forum to please no more attacks on Fr. Michel and on his bishop. Fr. Michel's talks/messages are NOT condemned. We all are sinners, are we not? Let God take care of them two men. Meanwhile, we are allowed to read the messages if we choose to do or not.
Please pray for Fr. Michel and his bishop. I beg you all to do pray, discern, patience, forgiveness, kindness and Love. God is Love!!
I was born Deaf and was mainstreamed in both public and Catholic schools. I've been through attacks, bullying, and been made fun of many times.
Jesus was, too. Please stop, tone it down, think first before picking up the stone to throw at.
We all are going through tough times now and devil is strong and divisive as his time is shorter and shorter. We have to be prayer warriors with Love and our weapon=the Rosary.
I love you all and may God's Peace and Love and Mercy remain in our hearts.

Due to my disability, speech and grammar...I'm not excellent with big words and vocabulary but I think you'll understand what I'm trying to say here. Thank you.
