It would be a great example for the bishops to participate in this with their flock. Everyone could wittiness their bishop participating in the consecration and afterwards join in a rosary in front of a Fatima statue. Make it a diocesan event and spread the messages of Fatima. It would be the first time many Catholics have ever heard of Fatima. What a opportunity to acquaint the faithful to Our Lady of Fatima….what graces she would send.

Sister Lucia said Our Lord spoke to her in an intimate communication, saying “They did not wish to heed my request…they will repent and do it, but it will be late. Russia will already have spread her errors throughout the world, provoking wars and the persecution of the Church; the Holy Father will have much to suffer.”
I do NOT agree with the rest of that article.

Yes, I also hope that this will have some effect, but I am almost certain this will NOT fully comply with our Blessed Mother’s request. At the very least, it could pave the way for a papal visit to Moscow and perhaps a temporary ceasefire, but then we may just see the continuation of the Garabandal predictions.

In today's news there was divergent claims regarding the sinking of a Russian battleship with Ukraine claiming a land to sea missile strike and Russia claiming a fire on the ship... I'm sure it was likely a Ukranian missile but was thinking if it was an error on the ship that it would be a parallel to some weapons failures in the USSR after the previous concentration in the 1980s.

Based on what I'm observing with conditions within the Church in recent times, it is all but possible for a proper consecration of Russia to occur in accordance with the requests of our Lady of Fatima, which is why I believe it will likely occur after the Church endures its final persecutions as predicted in the St. Malachy's alleged "Prophecy of the Popes."
