Just checking in on the world wide Oct 13th sign. I may not be looking out the window, so please post it here first. Seriously though, a sign from heaven would be just what we need right now. Even if it signals the start of terrible things. Anything showing and reaffirming the supernatural would be welcome by many, many people. Whether it's today or in the future. Please Jesus and Mary show us sign to help us reconfirm our beliefs and grow in our trust in You.
Fr. Oliveria’s sign may be personal for himself today. Perhaps, there will be a post soon on his website. I don’t think he said it would be a public sign.

Our Lady promised the children that the last time she would appear in Fatima, on Oct. 13, 1917, she would effect a miracle. She promised to do so because Lucía asked for a sign that everyone would see and believe. Today is the anniversary of that promised sign...Miracle of the sun.

Indeed, a day imbued with sombre significance for the faithful. Interestingly, there's a medieval 14th century Byzantine (Eastern Orthodox) prophecy, known as the Cento, which seems to predict an astronomic event broadly similar to that of the reputed "Miracle of the Sun" at Fatima in 1917 that we commemorate the anniversary of today. It's only major difference from the real event that happened is that it links this to the Last Emperor prophecy (Fatima isn't linked to that other chain of prophetic tradition, so far as I'm aware, at least directly): ...There will become visible in the sky a ‘nebulous firmament of the sun’ being in size similar to a summer-time threshing floor using six oxen; under that image there will be suspended a cross, and at the left hand side from the purple cross an extended arrow [arc], such as the one that was settling our affairs in eternal covenant; and since everybody ignores the identity of the man of hope, the arc will bend back [or, reflect] at the southern portion thereof, which is becoming decomposed in the vault of the heavens. And the revealing will be brought about by showing the place of the residence of the One True King; then the people having given glory to God, will make haste and go running in a hurry to the edge of the arc [arrow]; and having received the precious and aged-looking King with lit candles and palm-branches and beautiful songs they will fetch him to the Great Zion. For, they desire all pomp and circumstance for the occasion...
And the 50th anniversary of the third and final message of Akita said by Benedict to be the third secret of Fatima. When the church failed to make that known in 1960 Our Lady appeared in Garabandal to continue her mission. The words of Garabandal and Akita find reflection in each other. The three are clearly linked. And of course the form of the miraculous statue in Akita was based on the painting of The Lady of All Nations. I am sure that in time all will be made clear.
I don't do dates but I celebrate our beautiful Momma. I know people who are so obsessed with dates that they are driving themselves crazy.
Bill and I just returned from a special evening Mass and Procession with Our Lady of Fatima. I could not believe the turnout! The Church was fuller than regular Sunday Mass and after Mass, we processed around a number of blocks around the Church, holding candles while reciting the rosary and singing Marian hymns. It was a wee piece of heaven for me I took you all to Mass with me and asked for the graces from it for you. Our Lady of Fatima and Help of Christians, pray for us!
