That must be were John Henry found him If he is giving talks in his own County or State I suppose the folks there would just KNOW if its all hooey first hand from the previous news reports and knowing him and his family first hand..
He was not dead during a lot of his experiences. Pain and heavy duty painkillers can cause a lot of mental issues. He even repeated brain damage. Hospitals will not with hold pain meds too. He sounds like he's convinced himself of some experience, but he hasn't convinced me. I think he wants to sell a book. I do hope he has become catechized though.
I remember a man years ago put his son up to making an NDE and sold a ton of books. Then it was revealed it was a scam. How many alleged prophets have been scammers? Nothing this man said was a revelation. Things we have heard before, going down a tunnel. Seeing a light. The absence of God. Seeing an orb that was the Holy Spirit sounds very new agey. I guess I don't need this kind of testimony. Oh he forgot to pray? Really? What kind of church did he attend. Well getting off my soap box now.
Our trust has been broken so many times that it's very hard not to be skeptical. When they exploit their "spiritual experience" for money I would have serious doubts .
I would wonder why a good faithful Catholic would even need this testimony? We have approved prophets, none better than our Holy Mother to help us. We already know what happens after death and I am not far from it. If it comforts this man and brings him closer to God and he becomes catechized it was a blessing for him.
Apparently Ed has written a book about all this. I have just finished reading a book about Padre Pio this morning. So I think I will but this one next and see. 'Do you believe mystical experiences are only for the lives of the great saints? Would you be surprised if your neighbor or fellow parishioner experienced a miracle, heard a message from an angel, or felt they had seen a glimpse of heaven? What if one average guy experienced all of these? God wishes for us to share our experiences to draw us closer to Him and to one another. Read the story of one unlikely mystic, Ed Jozsa, an airline pilot from Cicero, Indiana, whose life changed in an instant after a catastrophic car accident derailed his life and nearly destroyed his body. Ed shares what brought him closer to Jesus. He describes the visions that helped him understand his true purpose on this earth and the message he feels called to share with others. Read his story and ask yourself how God may be working through your life or calling out to you. Now, let's have a look at his website: https://presenceofgodencounters.com/ This is a picture of me shortly after the accident where I was crushed and trapped in my car.
No I believe it's the real deal and he's the real deal. I think he's been anointed with a mission. I'll know better after reading his book. Really looking forward to it.
I will. I love books, they are better for me for understanding than videos and go into things deeper , especially with checkable facts.
