When persecution arrives, should the faithful go underground?

We are in big big trouble here. And this is just the tip of the iceberg

 

Some countries appear to be going down the Woke, Globalist tube quicker than others. Canada and Ireland are just about the worst.

The crazy thing about my avatar is that it automatically appeared once my request to join the forum was approved, and it is a picture that I had adored for years and years! I actually used to have it as my WhatsApp profile picture, and my mother asked me to change it, saying it depressed her. There is something about Mary's gaze in that particular statue, though, that captivates; it's unlike any other depiction I have ever seen.

 

Absolutely. I am very worried about any kind of future we may have here. It circles back to my original question about martyrdom because if things continue in this fashion, it feels like the persecution will become more and more blatant until people begin getting executed for their beliefs. I am personally concerned about people in my own family submitting to anything and everything out of survival, and not understanding that where our soul goes after this transient life is eternal.

 

I feel as though France can be added to that list, what with their enshrining of abortion in their constitution and their rules about outwardly wearing religious items in public/workplaces/etc.

I very much admire Immaculee and follow her advice to pray the 7-Sorrows Rosary. At this point I include it at least weekly while at Adoration. It takes me about 30 minutes to pray since, unlike the Traditional Rosary, I take time to read and meditate on the applicable Scripture passage for each of the seven mysteries.

 

so "woman" is a slur word now? progressives end up being the most nazi out of everyone. Why is it unfortunate ,do they imply its a negative thing for a person to be?

 

If you listen to them long enough, you'll start to understand that there are no men or women, only workers. Everything else is just a theatrical distraction, imho. You are either a worker, or you are useless. And out of those 2 categories, AI/automation is going to send an awful lot of surprised "workers" into the 2nd category sooner than they may think......God help us all.
