Our parish has First Friday Adoration. Will be on my way there soon … prayers for all your intentions.
I like this hymn; it is not overly emotional. But when I just came across it again when reviewing this thread I wondered why I chose to highlight this song in post 2. So I listened again and reheard the line: "And day by day I know he will renew me, until with joy I stand before the throne." As Catholics we can more intimately sing: "And day by day I know He can renew me, as I but kneel before His Monstrance throne." I am always before Him at 9pm on Tuesday nights so I can change the line from: "The night is dark, but I am not forsaken, for by my side, the Savior he will stay." to "The night is dark, but He is not forsaken, for by His side, with Jesus I will stay!" Amen!
Our holy priest is doing Adoration every Saturday during Advent. 8 hours each day. I pray there will be many spiritual fruits for our community from adoring the One True God. How my heart burns for the whole world to bend their knee before their God. After much suffering and deep purification, it may happen.
Thank you for praying for Rod— still no calls. I go frequently to Adoration- was there today- and prayed for you all . Also in my rosary and prayers at home.
Rory, God bless you for your faithfulness and constancy in prayer. Thank you for all the prayers you have said for us. Prayers going up for Roddy.
Thank you! I will have to try fasting. When we think about how much Jesus suffered for the love of us it should make us feel like showing Him love. I will try . My husband needs prayers for his health also.
