Dear Julia and family, Deepest sympathy and condolences from our family to yours. If you don't mind replying here with the initial of Sean's last name, I'd like to offer a Mass for the repose of his soul. The Lord knows that the Mass is meant for your husband Sean, but it would be helpful to give the priest even just the initial of Sean's family name. May Our Lady console you and your family at this time of sorrow.
Dear Julia..I'm so sorry for your loss ...a consolation for you that he passed on 1st Saturday..be strong God bless you Mary
I'm so sorry to hear about Sean's passing, Julia. I have been praying for you both since you originally posted that he was gravely ill. Please know that I will continue to pray for his quick passage to heaven and for your strength as well. God bless you.
Oh, Julia, I am sorry to hear of such a profound loss. I am praying for Sean that he is at home in his heavenly resting place. And may our Holy Mother keep you wrapped in her mantle.
Julia, I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear husband. I will be sure to keep both him and you in my prayers.
So sorry for the loss of your dear husband. May Christ, who died for our sake receive Sean into His heavenly kingdom. I pray for you, all your family, relatives and friends that God comforts you. Jesus states: "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live" (John 11:25)
You're very welcome, Julia. I have requested that the Mass be offered by the priest in March or April. May God bless you and your family and keep you all under Mother Mary's mantle. Although I only post occasionally due to my work and other duties and cannot always reply to posts, all forum members and your families (I should add: all forum visitors and your families as well) and all your concerns are included in my prayers.
I don't know why but just seeing this in Latin took me back to High School I was in the choir and our Choir Director really loved Sacred Music and the majority of music was Religious Music (even though I went to a public High School). We sang this for one of our performances. Of course the Choir on this video sings it much better than a bunch of 16-18 year olds
I will listen tomorrow. Looking forward to it. Awesome choir director. I was fortunate to have one like that as well,
Thank you Beth B. As you can imagine it is a very busy time making all the necessary arrangements and changes. All the paperwork...sigh! Seans funeral Mass will be on March 23rd at 12 noon. I asked our Priest to decide which readings to use, either those on 5th March when Sean died, or the readings on 23rd March the day of his funeral. Father Michael chose 5th March. Deferring the choice as a little act of love and trust in the power and mercy of our dear Heavenly Father. I pray God will use those readings to touch the hearts of those who attend, so they feel His Divine love personally, and those who have become lukewarm or lost their Faith be drawn back to sincere repentance and a new start. Thank you to all forum members for your kind thoughts and prayers. I bring all Forum members and their families to the foot of the Cross at Holy Mass asking the Lord to take care of their wellbeing and redemption, and look with mercy on their individual needs and concerns. God bless.
