I always thought the forgetfulness of the girls was Divine Action. What the girls went through was a mirror to what the world went through as to their belief in God. It seems we went from strong God fearing nations to just believing at most there was a God and so yeah hmmm, how was the packers game. I'm old-70 now and I have to go back to my grandparent's generation where people had faith. My parent's generation stopped going to Mass, suddenly everyone stopped going to church. Suddenly everyone was a cafeteria catholic knew better than God and the Church what was wrong and right. It must have been a great trial for the girls.
This is a very true post. I’m 73 and you have spoken true about the gradual apostasy. I have lived it.
Our Mother Mary of Garabandal pray for us to live our Vocation as Catholic Christians following the footsteps of Jesus unto Eternal Life! Amen.
