Thank you sharing Padraig! You should make the origin of “Mother of God” forum its own thread for people like me who ask. Although I’ve been on here for several years, I never asked.

 

I can't remember if I was banned from the other forum before or after Padraig. Either way, I'm glad he started this one. I consider myself an original member.

 

This brings back find memories of my Mom. As adult children (married with our own families) we were often around my mom. And in the course of family life different issues would arise. We all joked (to this day) that the worse “response” you could get from Mom… was a drag on her cigarette and complete silence. It frightened us to no end. Lol

 

I would have died...here's this guy standing there with a big old needle. Better to be silent, but I would have been biting my tongue through the whole procedure. I always feel so sad for the poor children who will be raised in these relationships.

Wow, 15 years and counting! A lot has changed. One of the first threads started by Padraig was on the "Jesus Prayer".

 

Yes Mario I remember. I think we were the first batch and we are still here. I was chucked off Ron's forum also. I hadn't contributed any controversial posts but he felt I had the potential to do so.
It's good to be still here and I have learnt a lot from all the contributors here.
