I am struggling to believe what I am reading Oh dear Lord your hand must be heavy :(

Transgender people can be baptised and be godparents, Vatican says

It says that where an adult has undergone hormone treatment and gender reassignment surgery they may be a godfather or godmother. ( total insult to Gods creation especially our Holy Mother)

It states that a transgender person - including those who have undergone hormonal treatment and gender reassignment surgery - can receive baptism under the same conditions as other believers

Will this outrage be sufficient to bring a unified condemnation from the Dubia Cardinals? This seems to reach the bar of teaching heresy. Its a very public directive.

    Endgame.
Obviously all sórt Of abominations are going to be given the green light and presented as a done deal at the completion of the synod next October.
I have been asked to become a member of the Baptism team in my parish. I definitely won't be doing that now.

Geralyn helps me out during Baptisms, but she is limited as follows: she helps setup the oils used and ensures the availability of Holy Water. She proclaims the first reading. After the sacrament is celebrated and complete, I have her make a promo for celebrating not only children's birthdays, but their baptismal days each year as well (Our own children who are parents carry on this tradition).

In the case of the baptism certificate, will the church be obliged to include the "social name" of the godparents as well? (n)(n)(n):unsure:

Im still trying to phathom how the so called leaders of our church can actually process and accept that the mutation of the body that God gave us is in no way sinful o_O
Is it me? Have I lost the plot o_O

You have NOT lost the plot. Remember what St Anthony of Egypt said: "in the last days men will be utterly insane and they will say to you 'you are mad! You are not like us!'"
This current church is gaslighting faithful Catholics. Hold fast. We know the truth!
( and they ain't got it!) May God give them the grace to turn back from this abomination.

Yes but thers a bigger picture here if they allow the transgender to be God parents per sey then how do they stop or excuse a woman who identifies as a man to become a priest? Or a man a nun ?

Exactly. That is the line in the sand. Remember Anne Catherine Emmerich seeing priests who were very upset--some very old and some very young priests. They couldn't go along with what was being mandated. Although all the other priests went with it. How can this not be the time we are in now? So sobering.

We need to see the original document because listening to the left-liberal media is not the smartest thing to do. They interpret it in their own way to promote a diabolical ideology. Transgender does not even exist, there is male and female. If a person lived a sinful lifestyle and decided to change his life, then there is no problem.

    Why can't they be baptized?
It is clear that they can be under the same conditions as everyone else. This means that if they repent, accept the teaching of Jesus and decide to live the dignity of their faith, they can be baptized. It means under the renunciation of sin and everything that opposes faith.
Of course, they cannot be baptized as one gender and then expect them to change gender and be baptized again...
In the same way, if a person has rejected a sinful life and realized that he made a mistake, was misled, then he can be a godmother or godfather... Then she/he is no longer a transgender person, but a person of female or male gender with permanent consequences of surgery or taking hormones, which unfortunately she can no longer remove. Many remain permanent from infertility to the growth of beards in women or the removal of certain body parts.

We need to see the original document, the BBC, like most, is a globalist left-liberal portal that further distorts the faith, and unfortunately many in the Church are creating confusion and destroying it from within. The problem is that everyone will interpret this in their own way, the left-liberal current will push sin as normal, while the faithful will stick to the law of faith as before.

I know that Pope Francis also said that gender ideology is one of the greatest dangers of today. The problem is that it even got into a word game where the concept of transgender is recognized instead of being classified as a sexuality disorder.

In other words, baptism, just like godparents, can only be performed under the biological sex with which a person was born...

One of the missions that a godfather receives from the hands of the Church is to watch over the spiritual life of his godchildren so that they live in accordance with the precepts of the Catholic faith, and, therefore, it is expected that when exercising a type of spiritual fatherhood, they will have a coherent life with the mission entrusted to them ...
