So many people need prayers. A friend's mother has been diagnosed with cancer despite only recent symptoms. She undergoes emergency surgery this morning for a bowel obstruction (with up to 30% chance of dying within a month as it is a risky procedure). One Hail Mary said slowly is all I ask please!
I have come to realise that it is the suffering of loved ones that's truly a severe suffering - the daughter waiting anxiously for her mother's cancer operation - a valley of tears. We only suffer because we love - Our Lady's heart at the foot of the cross pierced by the sword of suffering watching her son suffer in pain and die - truly she is co-redemptrix for her heart was Immaculate and Pure she suffered with her son and in a mysterious way cooperated fully with her son in the redemption of the world.
Truth! We suffer because we love. I often think that if I sinner that I am suffer in the pains and difficulties of my children how many million times more does Our Lady suffer. It staggers my mind.
Dear friends - it is not looking good I think it is the worst outcome - my friend is too devastated to tell me directly but reading between the lines it is terminal and that area where it is it could be very quick within 30 days - I am storming heaven, I hardly slept last night but offered it up.
