Wow. Never heard of this lady! There is a very interesting story too, of a priest who lived in Halifax with a connection to Padre Pio. He was supposedly a Russian Prince. If I ever get to Halifax again I hope to do some research on him. https://catholicism.org/padre-pio-and-the-russian-prince.html
Wow for sure. When I was at St. F. X. In Antigonish N.S. There were a couple of White Sisters of Africa there. It was 1965-67. I wonder….
Welcome! (I'm planning a journey on my motorcycle from here in Virginia up to Cape Breton and Prince Edward Island next September. Maybe we can meet up for a coffee.)
Welcome from a fellow Caper here...I was born and raised in New Waterford. I was back there in September visiting family and friends. I have a brother living in Glace Bay and a sister in Halifax. One of the things I miss the most is how friendly Cape Bretoners are. So nice to have some fellow Capers and Bluenosers on the forum!
Cape Bretoners are a special group of people. We have close friends in St Peter's. Friends for 50 plus years. The most generous kind hearted people I have ever known.
