I also especially like what Alonso said a bit above your bump, HH. In these times nowadays, it does seems like saying a rosary(ies) no longer is optional.
Thank you, garabandal, for this timely reminder. I appreciate this thread very much. It was prophetic when you said in 2021: "Vaccines won't solve the covid crisis. Synods wont solve the crisis in the Church. There is one solution staring us in the face - Our Lady and her Rosary." Yes, Our Lady said in Fatima that "there is no problem, no matter how big, that cannot be solved by praying the Holy Rosary". She also said via the Akita visionary Sr. Agnes Sasagawa to "put on ashes and pray a Rosary daily "(6 October 2019). Further, Our Lady said that in our times, "the only solutions left are the Rosary and the sign left by my son" (perhaps she means the Holy Eucharist). Yes, you are right - eyes need to be opened to this! Someone here on the forum recently posted the link to a PDF of a book about Akita, written by Fr. Yasuda and John Haffert. I cannot find the link on the forum anymore, even though it was just recently posted. To the person who posted the link - thank you profoundly! I have followed the link, downloaded Fr. Yasuda's Akita book, am currently reading it with great interest, and can thoroughly recommend it. God bless all here!
Our Lady is the answer to the present crisis of civilization - we are rapidly heading towards perdition. When things are at their worst the Pope will do the consecration of Russia in union with all of the bishops of the world and we will be granted a period of peace as promised. But how many lives must be lost, how many souls falling into hell because forces inside the church have prevented a true consecration? A simple act yet profoundly difficult to carry out. This tells us about the state of the church it is in freefall. 'When I return will I find faith on the earth'?
Michael, the link to the pdf of Fr. Yasuda's book is on the Synod on synodality thread (page 27). I had mentioned it to Josephite after a recent Akita video was shared and tried to post it there but for some reason couldn't do so. It was Sam who followed it up and provided the link. A very good book by Fr. Yasuda and highly recommended, as you rightly say.
Like you Michael I have downloaded this amazing book of Fr Yasuda thanks to Dave Fagan. I am now up to page 53 of the book, it is amazing! It certainly presents the reality of our nothingness to the fore. I hope many will read this! Fr Yasuda analyses these mystical experiences of Sr Agnes in a genuine, straightforward and dogmatic manner which is proven scientifically by the secular world. I eagerly await reading the rest of this book. Thank you again Dave
Dave, last night I remembered that you (and Sam, did not remember) helped with the link. Sorry I forgot to mention that. Thank you both.
Thank you so much, Dave. I am reading Fr. Yasuda's book, have made it to page 10. It is an amazing book, but I am a slow reader.
Thanks Michael, I have a paperback edition which I read back in the '90s. I must read it again, in light of these recent discussions and the concerning state of things currently. Our Lady of Akita, pray for us.

Yasuda's book is an excellent account of the Akita events by someone very closely connected to Sr. Agnes and the other sisters at the convent. I think John Haffert also deserves mention for his very readable translation and for all his work on Fatima too.

If a German translation was available, it could perhaps help convert my family. Once, I thought if I could get permission by the estate of John Haffert, I could slowly produce a German translation of "Meet the Witnesses". But I am not sure know where to start to make contact.
