John, you're a good friend to do this for Brendan's family. May Brendan rest in peace. I think there may be a rule down here that a grave is treated as empty after a specified number of years since the last burial. Might be worth checking if there's something similar in the North. Also, it might be worth asking the undertaker whether he would be willing accept payment in instalments. I tried to donate but made a mess of entering my password and the bank put a hold on my card. Will sort it out tomorrow.

I got these two pictures framed today and made the little pouch of brushes, Brendan's children will present these to the altar tomorrow to show his work as an artist, such talent both images he drew with pencil

John, I was able to live stream for a few minutes. I lost it after the Gospel. What a lovely funeral. The music was beautiful.
I wanted to take the time to earnestly thank you, for all of the support you great people of our little living room have given me over the past few weeks, it has been a trial for sure but God did bless me with spiritual eyes and I did see how darkness tried very hard to extinguish light.. I got a very big compliment today in fact I actually believe God was speaking and I am humbled beyond words. After the funeral mass a person came to me shook my hand and said John you run around the scenes,hidden and quiet,get the job done and then dissappear as if you don't exist, nobody remembers or takes notice.. I just love that it's as if God himself said its who and what you are child... For the first time in my life I can actually say I'm as proud as can be without being prideful.. Thank you Jesus
Its a lovely tribute John and well deserved. I think God wanted you to know this. It is His smile coming through those words. I am in awe of the miracle of grace that God worked for Brendan. It is a great faith builder for all of us.
Understood. Very pleased for you. Confirmation from the Lord. That is truly who you are. As Ann said, the graces that God gave Brendan at the end were awe inspiring. “His mercy is from generation unto generation.”
