The Lord unexpectedly sent me a consolation today, much needed, praise be Jesus. Thank you all for your prayer support.

I received today the 31st March 2023 a letter and some hilarious postcards (which cheered me up no end) from MoG forum member An Guilbneach who is from Ireland, no less, and a person who does not frequent the MoG forum much, However he is the person that over a year ago answered my prayer plea for the purple scapular!
He personally sent me three of these scapulars as well as other holy sacramentals, May God protect and Bless Him always.

Thank you An Guilbneach, I do not know what "An Guilbneach" means in Gaelic, maybe one of you Irish locals could enlighten us mere mortals as to its meaning.

In my opinion the person under the title of 'An Guilbneach' is a very holy person.

A glimpse into An Guilbneach is given by his letter and his posts .
He hungers for His dearest Eucharistic Lord Jesus, He goes to extraordinary and beautiful. lengths to love Jesus. 'An Guilbneach' wants to be hidden!? May God forgive me!

I hope An Guilbneach does not see this post as he will probably disengage himself from the forum altogether.

However I don't think he will see this post as he has explained that he has only recently discovered my pm to him (regarding the purple scapular) sent over a year ago/

My Irish dictionary does not list it. Just using google translate reveals that An Guilbneach is Scotish Gaelic and it translates as The Sycamore. The Sycamore tree has those distinctive seeds that can travel long distances in the wind in Autumn, 'twizzling down like little helicopters'.

 

Interesting too is that the Sycamore tree was the type the chief tax collector, Zachaeus climbed to see Jesus as he was passing through Jericho. As you may recall from the Gospel, Jesus called him by name to come down from that tree and he converted! That you Josephite for your prayers… praying for you!

I actually said a special prayer for Tracy at Mass today. I did not know it was her birthday but she came strongly to mind. Her Guardian angel perhaps sent to remind me.

 

I too think Tracy needs prayers.
We will help her. We always do.
