nsd, I think that many here agree that we are already in the midst of a worldwide communist takeover but Russia has only led this takeover indirectly because of the nearly worldwide adoption of Marxist values and/or the infiltration of various institutions by communists. This last statement of Mari Loli’s should make us wonder if the blame for all that is wrong in the Church today has always been properly placed. It seems very little consideration has been given to the possibility that an evil force has deliberately infiltrated the Church with the intention of trying to destroy it. The other day I was speaking with Harry Daley, author of Miracle at Garabandal. Harry was a good friend of the late Father Walter Ciszek, S.J., who spent 15 years in Soviet prisons and Siberian labour camps, and lived to tell about it in his book With God in Russia (Ignatius Press). Harry visited Fr. Ciszek (a believer in Garabandal by the way) often, and on one of his visits, Father went to great lengths explaining how the communists tried to recruit him, promising him all kinds of benefits, if he would work as their agent in the Church and join the network that was already in place. Harry Daley has since passed away on April 4, 2017, may he RIP.+ I have been thinking that Russia's invasion of Ukraine appears to be the reason that Pope Francis will go to Moscow since Russia invited him to meet with Kirill in Cuba soon after the annexation of Crimea (this is not my idea but I read it in an article and seems to make sense.). Then I began wondering if Pope Francis' trip to Moscow may actually be the reason why "successive violent persecutions would break out here and there in Europe" as Albrecht Weber stated in his book about Garabandal. Please let's not listen to the press too much on this, that would be a distraction for us, to steer us away from prayer and sacrifice for our Pope. We know there are wolves around him, he needs our prayers to stay obedient to Our Lady's voice. I can hear the voices whispering in his ear "why only Russia? What about everyone else? THink of your dear poor in Venezuela that you love so much, who are suffering. There is war everywhere, Our Lady is not just for Russia, but for the world." They'll circle him and make him think the consecration can be even bigger & better. I think it was PF who suggested we send our angels to him. Let's do that and more so that he does not balk in the face of suggestions that seem good but will move him away from obedience to Our Blessed Mother. I'm thinking the chance of a papal visit to Moscow has diminished after Francis called the Russian invasion a senseless massacre this Sunday, which indirectly seems like a response to Patriarch Cyril I's recent comments justifying the military operation .
I don't know what he wants, but zelensky wants him to mediate and I am just speculating that this could be a possible scenario that allows Pope Francis to visit Russia.
