I feel the future martyrs of our church will not be forced to give up their lives but to give up their belief. This is when the church will go underground. The persecution will be those who still believe in the true presence will be mocked. That is why Faith is so important.
I’d like to hope so but I fear that mockery will be the least of it. We already see a Christian man in Ireland put in prison for refusing to use the chosen pronouns of a confused child. In the UK and Ireland there are laws prohibiting silent prayer in front of abortuaries. People who defy this have already faced punishment while terrorist-supporting mobs can attack and abuse people on the streets of London while the police do nothing. Things will get worse. If cash is phased out and digital money the only means of payment, a simple debanking will ensure that you can’t buy food, pay rent, live in modern society. There will be fines and prison for those who don’t conform to the spirit of the age.
Regarding "trans" kids, there's a popular comedian youtuber here who says "at that age, I wanted to be a ninja turtle". Kids can't buy a cig but will be allowed to have a life-changing surgery. one reason I can't see myself having kids, world is too grim
Well, this is a really cool post, I like the humor. I think there is a way to raise kids, even today. Our Good Lord says we should be fruitful and multiply. Personally, I have moved my family to a town with an SSPX-parish and school. This was done to have a peer group (both parents and students) that is on the same page regarding traditional Catholicism. Our parish priests and teachers do a lot to counter the effects of the modern world. I think the SSPX has parishes and schools in Argentina. Of course, they can only do so much, and there are some concerns as well... Perhaps I will start homeschooling. I am not sure if this is legal in Argentina. The most important aspect, I think, is the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart. This can't be far away. Look at the 'vaccination'-campaign, the Ukraine war, the war in the Middle East now. How long, Lord? I think Our Lady will triumph soon. Meanwhile, your kids would still be young and you can keep them away from today's culture. God bless!
