I see Joe Bidens' dog, a German Shepherd called, 'Champion', has now bitten various Secret Service agents a total of 24 times and looks like its gonna go on biting people until it's teeth wear out.:)

Well the reason why it matters is this that pretty well anywhere in the world that a dog bites a human it get put down, put to sleep. Do not pass go, do not get out of jail , put straight to sleep. It is the big, big , 'No', 'No' of the doggy world. That's why when they are pups we go to such very great lengths to stop them from biting because we don't want them biting people when they get older.

Why don't we want them biting? Well because in the first place because it hurts very much. I don;t know if you've ever been bitten by a dog, but let me assure you it hurts a very great deal.

The second reason is that a dog bite can be dangerous, it can carry germs and things like rabies.

Another reason is that a dog that bites people is dangerous. If it bites once what is to stop it biting more than once, what is to stop it attacking a child.

But what concerns me is that this dog has been biting people right left and centre and getting away with it? How? Well because its owner is the President of the United States and the most powerful person in the World.

It's just, when you think about it the definition of corruption is that the rules that apply to ordinary mortals don't apply to the corrupt person. The corrupt person can do as he likes, as can his dog.

It might seem like a small thing, but ti shows a certain rotten , corrupt mindset, 'I can do as I like and so can my dog'.

It’s who he is. Biden was always this way. He would block the streets from Downtown to the small city of Coconut Grove, when he was in Miami as V.P. for hours. Not even Obama did this. It was so annoying.

My country is counting down to another election for the Parliament after the fall of the Government as a result of yet another corruption scandal. I don't see a sign of hope between any of the new candidates and that's why I don't really care about politics anymore, but I watched a couple of debates for pure entertainment. The most shocking thing I heard was the leader of the Animals and Nature Party (animalist extreme left) defending, in the same sentence, that women have the right to kill their unborn children and that bullfighting should be illegal in Portugal. This woman is a deputy in the Assembly of the Republic and unfortunately there are many dozens of other deputies who think like her in all parties.

German Shepherds are notoriously nippy, I wonder if they’re actual bites or just like grazing the skin (like what they do for herding).

I suppose the poor dog got confused with all the strangers roaming about his home.

That dog is quite young and I suspect needs more exercise than he’s getting. Two elderly people have no business getting a dog like that unless they are very fit and willing to put in the hours of training. German Shepherds are intelligent and need stimulation and masses of exercise.

I am very bonded with my crossbreed dog Jasper. I have never had a close relationship with an animal before. In his younger days he bit a fair number of people and I spent sleepless nights worrying about his future. He hated children especially although he has never bitten a woman or girl. When the grandchildren came, my husband suggest we get Jasper rehomed.

I thought about it but decided I have a say in this too and Jasper was likely not rehomable.

He got used to our grandchildren, the youngest crawled over him and he never minded. His teeth are very worn now. They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks but you can.

However much I love GS dogs, I’d not get one at my age. I love Border Collies too but I lack the fitness to chase after them. Biden should be realistic about his age - in more ways than one

I had a rescue (Cody, a Curly Coat Retriever) that bit other dogs and we kept him until he died at age 15. He never bit a human but we never gave him the chance! I got a Golden Retriever when Cody was 9 and they were the best of friends, but I could never trust Cody around people or strange dogs. He loved being on the farm around the horses and cows and was very obedient to me. Sometimes it is what it is. If Champion cannot be trusted in the White house with a lot of people around it might be better to re home him. I agree, the Bidens obviously are no correct owners for that breed. But seeing how weird Biden is with his "affection" around women and children, and probably the dog itself, I'm assuming the dog can sense something is wrong with him mentally and is stressed out. Dogs usually bite for a reason....
