There is great spiritual work to be done.

You no doubt know this well, which is perhaps one of the reasons you have decided to join me during our nine-month Novena to Our Lady of Guadalupe: our world is in need of God’s grace, and Our Lady’s intercession is among the surest ways to secure it. I looked at the site but am not sure of the specifics. What are the novena prayers? How do we integrate them into our daily prayer? I do like the idea of this but am concerned that it might be difficult to stay constant over 9 months. Depending.

 

I have the same trepidation knowing my track record for incorporation of more prayers.

 

I signed on and will go with the prayers, whatever they may be, but I'm hoping for a short additional prayer for the novena along with adding the intentions to our regular daily prayers.....

Prayer
OF THE NINE-MONTH NOVENA TO OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE

To be prayed daily throughout the nine-month novena from March 12 to December 12, 2024.

‍O Virgin Mother of God, we fly to your protection and beg your intercession against the darkness and sin which ever more envelope the world and menace the Church. Your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, gave you to us as our mother as He died on the Cross for our salvation. So too, in 1531, when darkness and sin beset us, He sent you, as Our Lady of Guadalupe, on Tepayac to lead us to Him Who alone is our light and our salvation.

Through your apparitions on Tepayac and your abiding presence with us on the miraculous mantle of your messenger, Saint Juan Diego, millions of souls converted to faith in your Divine Son. Through this novena and our consecration to you, we humbly implore your intercession for our daily conversion of life to Him and the conversion of millions more who do not yet believe in Him. In our homes and in our nation, lead us to Him Who alone wins the victory over sin and darkness in us and in the world.

Unite our hearts to your Immaculate Heart so that they may find their true and lasting home in the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. Ever guide us along the pilgrimage of life to our eternal home with Him. So may our hearts, one with yours, always trust in God's promise of salvation, in His never failing mercy toward all who turn to Him with a humble and contrite heart. Through this novena and our consecration to you, O Virgin of Guadalupe, lead all souls in America and throughout the world to your Divine Son in Whose name we pray. Amen.

Return to Our Lady

 

The Novena begins on March 12.

 

I’m in! I can do this. It’s a very fine prayer.

 

I judge this is the last chance to save America. Let’s go!!

 

Imho, this is where our hope should lie, in Our Lady. No politician can do anything at this point beyond possibly delaying the inevitable, and that only for a short time. Trump fixing things at this point seems to me a pleasant fiction. Same where I live; all hope is being placed in a politician who doesn't wear funny socks and talks the talk. It's all theatre; one great big show.


I'm sorry if this seems negative. But I truly believe He is going to take away everything we have so we rely only on Him. It's no longer a time for guessing games as to when or how; it's time to prayerfully prepare in whatever way He is calling one to do so. Trust in Him. Trust in Our Lady. And pray....


This is from a conversation a few weeks ago with someone, just before I became ill. I stand by it.


"Honestly, I think there's nothing we can do of ourselves at this point, except stay faithful. No easy task.

Our Lady herself is asking only for prayer now............


There are huge clouds gathering, imho, with this women's diaconate talk. And only now they are formally talking about not modifying the words in regard to the Sacraments? After all the abuses over the decades? That tells me changes are in the works, that it's not good, and a hammer will fall on the dissenting ones......


Pray mightily, stay faithful, and as you say, do not be afraid to call a spade a spade. As calmly as possible though. Evil seems to really love it when everyone goes bonkers over things. Right or wrong, it just feeds the beast.


In the end, these Reset People, no matter what they pretend to be, are nothing but the "new, self appointed landlords". They have cast aside God. A catastrophic mistake.


Our Lady is going to take care of it all.....She is with us, and all will be well!"
