Although I originally learned of this event from Ann Barnhardt, it is not only being covered by her and most of the coverage from the usual sources is hostile to the Church. Outrage is the proper response for any believing Catholic. Outrage on God's behalf. Who speaks for God in this unspeakable insult to His majesty? Thank goodness some voices are raised who have a platform to raise voices. The few snippets I saw of this demonic debacle show the intent of those who organized this blasphemy. They intended to offend in every possible way--daring the Church to stop them. And now they want an apology??? Well of course they do! They are the new sacred icons of our debased and debauched culture. Its hard not to believe this wasn't orchestrated by the powers that be--the hidden hand--in their ongoing campaign to attack and humiliate and destroy God's Church.
In Funerals here the priest calls to see the family of the deceased as matter of course and listens to few stories from the life of the dead person, to learn a little about him and the names of family members. Cardinal Dolan said that they were, 'Not the FBI', to know what was going on. But it wouldn't have taken much checking to find out what was going on. Just a little of a closer look. Everything these days is about being nice and not offending anyone. Three things I know about Jesus from the Gospels. 1. He very often was not nice. 2.. He very often offended people like crazy. 3. He may not have been in the FBI but He always knew who was who and what was what.
I don't know much about homosexuals and transsexuals but from what I have seen they are intensely narcissistic and love to be the centre of attention. Being able to sweep about St Patrick's Cathedral with the eyes of the World upon them, their own little stage would have been their perfect heaven. From now on in they'll be beating down Cathedral doors right across the Globe to have more such events. They'll be quequing up for them.
I was more referring to the "big cheese" regarding ignoring things; he seems to just be biding his time until someone makes it go away for him. Ann B.'s writing is not for me either. I read about the goings on elsewhere. I can't help but think that in days of old, the "boys in blue", mostly sons of St. Patrick, would have been called and would have properly taken things in hand. I glance at Ann's column once a week. I'm noticing she speaks alot of truth. Her way is different but doesn't bother me.
One thing with these awful people is they love to be Victims. They will be nailing themselves to a Cross in Front of any Cathedral that doesn't run away when it sees them hoving into view...and from now onwards they'll be hoving into view like crazy.
