Pope St. John Paul II made great plans and prayerful preparation for the Great Jubilee of the Year 2000, where we celebrated and commemorated the second millenial anniversary of the Incarnation and Birth of Our Lord. Similarly, His Holiness Pope Francis has indicated 2033 will be a major celebration in the Universal Church - the visionaries at Garabandal and elsewhere have said separated Christians will one day unite with the Catholic Church. And the more we pray, that day will come sooner. So let us keep this in our intentions, that by the grace of God, separated Christian ecclesial communities will soon unite with the Catholic Church. "The pope commented that 2031 will mark 500-year anniversary of the apparition of Our Lady of Guadalupe, which spread the faith throughout Mexico and across Latin America. Two years later, in 2033, the Church will celebrate the 2000-year anniversary of humanity’s redemption through Jesus’ crucifixion." https://www.catholicnewsagency.com/...eds-a-new-catholic-presence-in-politics-50267 According to Tradition, Our Lord was crucified in 33 A.D. on Nisan 14th, the Jewish day of Passover. This is an evangelical site, though the Pope approved the project: https://www.jc2033.world/en/ "We were on the most part, welcomed quite warmly. Some expressed their surprise and reluctance, though they gradually warmed up to the idea with the realisation of the potential this project has towards Church unity. Since the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus-Christ, every year is “a year of grace” (Luke 4,19). However with the year 2000 we have entered into a special time. Every year in some sense becomes a jubilee year. The jubilee of his birth, of his childhood, and the youthful years of Jesus. The year 2030 will be a jubilee marking the 2000 years of the start of his ministry. We are presently in those so called “hidden years” of the God-Man in Nazareth! Unfortunately there was no great celebration in the year 2000 as a jubilee of Jesus’ birth. Neither was there any ecumenical process bringing together the worldwide church. There were some churches however who were very active, the Catholic Church being one of them. Yorgo Lemopoulos, the deputy to the general secretary of the WCC, confessed that it was one of his biggest disappointments during his tenure at the WCC. “It is a good thing to prepare these many years before the year 2033. JC2033 is preparing the way and this is good” he said." https://www.jc2033.world/en/news/blog/99-towards-2033-jc2033-and-wcc.html One of the things the enemies of the Church and all Christendom fear most is the reconciliation of sincere Evangelical and Orthodox Christians with the Catholic Church. They know that they will be weakened severely, perhaps defeated irrecoverably. This letter was first published by an anti-Catholic. It was cited in Piers Compton's The Broken Cross. It shows the plan of the enemies of the Church and what they fear most, "We have blackened the Catholic Church with the most ignominious calumnies, we have stained her history, and disgraced even her noblest activities. We have imparted to her the wrongs of her enemies, and have brought these latter to stand more closely by our side. So much so that we are now witnessing, to our greatest satisfaction, rebellions against the Church in several countries. We have turned her clergy into objects of hatred and ridicule, we have subjected them to the hate of the crowd. We have caused the practice of the Catholic religion to be considered out of date and a mere waste of time. We have founded many secret associations which work for our purpose, under our orders and our directions ... We are grateful to Protestants for their loyalty to our wishes, although most of them are, in the sincerity of their faith, unaware of their loyalty to us. We are grateful to them for the wonderful help they are giving us in our fight against the stronghold of Christian civilization, and in our preparations for the advent of our supremacy over the whole world ... the Catholic Church is still alive. We must destroy her without the least delay and without the slightest mercy ... Let us, above all, make it impossible for Christians outside the Catholic Church to be re-united with her, or for non-Christians to join the Church; otherwise our domination over them will never be realized.’"
Back in 2017 when the two Easter dates aligned, I posted this in response to Dean's describing that the icon of Our Lady of Soufanieh in Damascus, Syria had begun to ooze oil once more: Thank you. I have followed Our Lady of Soufanieh for many years. God's timing is not whimsical; the term I prefer is pivotal. The Two Hearts are sounding wake-up calls to every culture and every land. TIME IS SHORT! REPENT AND BELIEVE IN THE GOSPEL. The next few occurrences where the Easter dates align are in 2025, 2028, 2031, and 2034. The seer, Myrna, is now in her mid-50s. She has been promised that Our Lady will reappear to her after the Easter dates are realigned by the East and West. Conchita of Garabandal is currently about 70. Mirjana of Medjugorje is currently in her mid-50s also. I'm not claiming that all three apparitions are valid. What I'm saying is "promises" have been made and none of these ladies are getting younger. We also have Our Lady of Fatima promising the Triumph of her Immaculate Heart! Then we have this video which Carol55 posted which I described as frightening: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=18&v=VP-yweVg2q4 All I can say, Xavier, is that one can see a Window of Convergence in the near future that is irrefutable. We who are in Mary's Army must remain steadfast in our resolve to follow her directions and live out all phases of her instructions because Our Lady of Victory will soon, at the dictates of her Son, usher in the Triumph. Let us remember that persecution and the Cross are guaranteed elements which we must first pass through. Lord have Mercy!
I wonder if 2033 will align the 2000 year anniversary of Our Lord's Passion with the Passion of the Church. The general timeframe seems to line up with what we know from approved prophecy.
I share your pain. It’s not as bad as it seems to you now. Lots of time to do “projects” Everything becomes a “project”
Aren't there doubts about the actual years of the birth and crucifixion of Our Lord? Perhaps our years 2000 and 2033 aren't the actual anniversaries. What if the Crucifixion and Resurrection actually happened in the year(per our calendar) 29 or 31? If so, perhaps we can expect either the fate of the king of France or the triumph of Our Lady's immaculate heart: http://archive.fatima.org/essentials/facts/rianjo.asp
I've been thinking a lot about the period 2029–2033, as probably some of these years encompass the 2000th anniversary of redemption. However, I also think of 2036 as the possible climax of the events of the tribulation, as it will be 120 years since the beginning of the Fatima apparitions, which began with the apparition of the angel of Portugal in the spring of 1916, something that could be analogous to the preaching of Noah 120 years before the flood.
the Polish priest from my old scout group taught Jesus did about 55 years old, not 33. he also told us he had witnessed\ participated in an exorcism, so I believe him, he might have had visions he didnt share I think. years later I found Irenaeus also taught the old-age of Jesus because "he needed to come across all age groups to redeem all age groups" so maybe 2033 is not the date, but is 2050?
Taylor Marshall is pretty convincing concerning those dates. https://taylormarshall.com/2018/03/good-friday-finding-historical-date-day-ad-30-33.html
