My wife and I saw this beautiful deer cross our lawn this morning just after our prayers. I’ve heard of deer in general in Bible as symbols but anyone know of mention of this type. I believe it’s called a piebald. Sort of rare. “As the deer longs for streams of water,a so my soul longs for you, O God.” Psalm 42
I just read that the piebald coloration comes from pigment cells failing to migrate during fetal development. Otherwise, it’s a normal deer. But I don’t know of any symbolism. It’s really a beautiful animal, Miker.
on the topic of animals of peculiar colors which add to beauty, there's a whole species of pink dolphins in the Amazon! in the Pokemon games some pokemon which are very rare to catch ,are normal pokemon who have a special color palette
