https://www.smithsonianmag.com/arts...-collection-relics-outside-vatican-180963680/ Talk about a gold mine of blessings! Our youngest child, Daniel, lives in Pittsburgh, PA. Yesterday he drove Geralyn and myself to St. Anthony's Chapel which has the highest concentration of relics in the world apart from Rome. They are all catalogued and displayed in this one structure. You could spend months combing the place. I'll give you one example present to the right of the Tabernacle on the far wall. Amazing! It is a display of relics from each of the saints mentioned in the Roman Canon of Holy Mass: your blessed Apostles and Martyrs, Peter and Paul, Andrew, James, John, Thomas, James, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Simon and Jude; Linus, Cletus, Clement, Sixtus, Cornelius, Cyprian, Laurence, Chrysogonus, John and Paul, Cosmas and Damian... Enjoy the article and if you make one trip to Pittsburgh, spend at least one day there, especially on a day when Holy Mass is offered!
The second largest Relic Shrine in the U.S. is at Maria Stein, Ohio. I have been there, it's amazing!
I think each relic can carry\does carry an indulgence as long as requirements of virtue and sacraments are made(prayer, confession, alms?)? Imagine spending a couple of whole days there and you come out fully indulgenced Iron Man armor of grace
(Also, sorry for my posts today being grammatically lousy. for some reason today Im finding it hard to write in english)
