Hi all. As you all know the great Feast of St Joseph will be celebrated March 19th. Tomorrow, March 10th begins the 9 day novena. With all going on in the world, I sense a greater need to pray to our great St Joseph to protect all of us and especially the Church. Happy Feast of St. Joseph! Headed off to Mass and will remember you all and your intentions on this magnificent day God had granted us through this wonderful and powerful intercession. thank you St. Joseph. Protect us all, especially us fathers in this crazy world.
Just wanted to share/ it was a thought that came out of no where - so I believe Holy Spirit is at work…. today is a Wednesday and also 19th of month - and thus directs my prayer to dear St. Joseph. I particularly go to him with the intentions of many of our Irish members who will be participating in the Rally in Derry next month. And as a man in this crazy world, asking St. Joseph to guide me in all my decisions. Peace.
I have not heard before of a novena our priest will be starting this Wednesday after the noon Mass. We will pray to St Joseph for nine consecutive Wednesdays leading up to his feast day on March 19th. I have prayed before the 9-day novena before his feast day but first time doing this nine week one. I am happy Father is doing it as I am in midst of reconsecration to Mary and what more would she love that praying to her husband!
