Anybody know would a Catholic reflexology practitioner need deliverance prayers after renouncing the practice?

I would think it worth a consult with a priest. It's is somewhat in the category of reiki--moving so called energy around.

    That's what I thought, too.

I think it's just a massage and totally secular unlike reiki. At least I had a friend who works giving it and she's a strict materialist\secularist.
Reiki doesn't even touch you, so its literally not a massage.

I went to a reflexology class some years ago and as far as I'm concerned t it's a therapeutic foot massage that can be separated from any woo-woo stuff. The American doctor who developed it wasn't, as far as I know, into oriental religions and his secretary who wrote the first book about it definitely wasn't.

If someone who was into the whole 'Chinese medicine' stuff was using reflexology then perhaps there is a case that they should seek some spiritual guidance. Do converting buddhists need specific deliverance? I guess it depends on what they were up to.

Reiki is another matter. Run, don't walk, from it.
