Prayers Please

Thought I would request your prayers. Linda Buckley, our parish secretary, placed her husband in a nursing home about 2 months ago, lost her only son, Brian, last night, and suffered a stroke this morning. Please hold the family in prayer!

 

God love her. In my Rosary intentions this evening ~

Many crosses to bear, dear woman. Praying for Linda and her family.

 

I will keep her , her son, and her husband in my Rosary tonight during Adoration at the Marian Shrine. Such huge crosses for her

 

Of course praying.

It's crazy of course but these prayer requests are such a source of comfort.

They teach me to count my blessings.

Asking Blessed Solanus Casey to intercede on her behalf. She is carrying a heavy cross.

 

Will be offering up for this and taking it to prayer and Mass. The Cross; we are actually doubly blessed when it intensifies over Lent.

 

I just saw this and my heart goes out. Will be praying.

 

Thank you all for your thoughtful and earnest prayers. I visited Linda at the hospital in Syracuse today. I brought her Holy Communion and we prayed together. Her daughter has come over from Buffalo, NY, and has made arrangements for Brian's funeral this coming Wednesday. Linda had difficulty finishing sentences, but is aware of her surroundings and appreciated the Gift of Our Lord!

Thank you, again for all of your prayers. They mean so much.
