Have posted an interview Father Sheier did with Mother Angelica in the late 1990's. He died after an accident years earlier and faced the judgement seat of God. His soul would have been dammed, but for the intercession of Blessed Mother, and his miraculous recovery. I wish all Priests and Bishops could hear and believe this testimony, for the sake of their souls. He died 16th April 2020.
God bless him and console and deliver him from purgatory if he had to go there first. He was a powerful witness.
I am trying to find the courage to email Father Scheier's testimony to as many Priests as possible that I know, to make a thank You to dear God for allowing Father Scheier to come back and warn His Priests how seriously God takes their ministry, and how much we the lay people depend on our Priests to guide us safely home to Heaven. I will post it on Facebook when I can figure out how to post a video on there. Sigh.
Such a humble priest. It reminds me of what St Paul wrote, that while he could find nothing with which to accuse himself that we must work our our salvation, 'In fear and trembling'. Philippians 2:12 Dear friends, you always followed my instructions when I was with you. And now that I am away, it is even more important. Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear. I on the other hand have loads and loads and loads to accuse myself of and so have very, very much to be fearful and to tremble about. But I love and console myself with what Jesus told St Faustina, that the greater the sinner the greater the right to God's mercy. More and more recently I love the Jesus prayer, Lord Jesus Christ , Son of God have mercy on me a sinner'. Divine Mercy Sunday , for myself as a huge sinner has always been such a huge must every year. I was gutted to miss it, but I heard Jesus tell me that because I wanted to go so much I got all the fruits anyway.
