Interesting article. I assume since I have been asking after the boy for some time that I have been labeled 'An enemy of Garabandal' Call me what you like, but you have those who ask questions to thank . The fact Aviso called the boys existence only a false rumour a week ago in an email to me means , He is an enemy of Garabandal? spreading lies?
I had read somewhere that the boy (now man) did not live in Garabandal so that is why the information was so hard to come by perhaps but also sounds like the family are private and want to live normal lives until the 8 day notice of the Miracle from Conchita. Since the boy is now a man, we can assume he has resigned himself to the will of God and like Joey awaits the promised miracle. We only can admire Joey, Conchita, and Daniel who now live 'hidden' lives in the service of God awaiting a promised blessing.
His English is not always perfect, I am sure he meant the existence of " rumor of the boy had died" was false. We have been trying to find this information for months. He has many more friends than I do there, he travels there quite a bit.
Here is the Email...I can confirm that this Paralytic boy story is a rumor only, I have myself asked about this rumor in Garabandal directly because I have been contacted by Glenn Hudson regarding the same question few months ago, and no one from the village has been able to confirm to me this rumor or even if this boy really existed, we must understand that many tried to attack Garabandal with thousand of rumors since the beginning and we must also remember the age of the Garabandal seers that time when they started to talk and to give interviews to some, the girls were fragile and weak and many of their answers have been misinterpreted and it was the main reason why they decided to stop talking about the Apparitions from the eighties.
It is not really surprising that this story has been hard to confirm - there is the language barrier, the time barrier, the internet rumour mill and so on. Glenn has done his best to find things out for people but he is not infallible. He is damned by some if he does and others if he doesn't. Glenn - keep your head held high for you are an apostle for Garabandal and for that I for one are glad you are on this forum. You are a blessing not just because you promote Garabandal but because you are a man of faith. How wonderful is it that we on this forum will be amongst the first in the world to received the 8 day notice of the Miracle because the one who has been chosen to announce it to the world is in close contact with one of our own.
Mac, so now you're complaining about how the truth was arrived because "Aviso " used caution investing the rumor, lol . The few nay -sayers here are always saying "be cautious" in your belief, so here Aviso WAS cautious (because details were hard to confirm ) and now your criticizing him too. Instead of an apology, or thanks for unearthing the TRUTH, we get your response , ingratitude & PRIDE , not admitting you might have been wrong in your assumptions. I think that this new evidence proves why we must sometimes take this apparition on faith , (even though there is a mountain of evidence) and every little doubt in question doesn't mean it's false, it means ,even if we don't understand it right this minute, we must trust in what our Blessed Mother said, and take it on faith, even if we can not explain every quote to 100% of our human satisfaction, doesn't mean its not true.
