Ok guys I have added a new facility to the forum it might take a while to get used to but be patient with it and it will become very easy.. previously if you wanted to quote someone in a post you selected Reply or used the Quote button, that has now changed to +Quote If you only wish to quote one post just select the reply box as normal If you wish to quote multiple post just select each quote ( +Quote) button,,,once you have selected each post you want to quote you then select insert quotes in the reply box,,,, each time you select a quote the MESSAGE ADDED TO MULTI QUOTE will appear,,,, once you select insert quote a message box will appear REVIEW SELECTED MESSAGES and an option to remove quotes,,, once your happy to proceed just select the quote these messages button,,, add your own comment,,, then select post reply....
this is an example I have quoted multiple posts from different threads using the +Quote button Now as you can see I have posted two quotes from different threads if you wish to view the thread that a quoted post came from just click on the upward arrow beside Username said
That is a really neat feature. This forum software is one of the best that I have seen from a functionality perspective and it is easy to use. Padraig, you did your homework on it for sure.
Yes Don xenforo is a great end user forum software but from a background technical aspect it can be a bit daunting getting around it's database. On a plus side it's very stable with very few glitches
