Yes, this was a factor that I was surprised that Mike Brown didn't include since he said he had been following Garabandal closely since the '90s. Again, since St. Joseph it would seem would have to be recognized in these end times as predicted, and as I mentioned above, Medj. itself actually began on Jun. 24, the Eve of the date that it is officially recognized, Jun. 25, (which actually then gives honor to the place of St. John the Baptist) perhaps this recognition of Joseph could come prior to the Miracle on the eve, Mar. 18, of his own feast day as recognized by the Church, Mar. 19....and with other important apparition sites which included the Holy Family before ending....just when, if not within his own month, would be a better time to include his own importance to be recognized by the whole world. Also, Edson Glauber promotes the scapular of St. Joseph and also states that Joseph's own heart must be included in a formal recognition of the Three Hearts! From DonnaS in "Approved apparitions in the Amazon" thread who has just attended an event with Edson Glauber: He says this is the final portion of The Sacred Heart of Jesus, Immaculate Heart of Mary, and now the Chaste Heart of St Joseph.... Just another thought about that date.
If we have the Warning this fall, then those who believe in Garabandal will be expecting a Miracle in the Spring, most would say April 13th. But what if after the Warning one of the seers from Medjugorje announces a Miracle there, this just doesn't make sense to me, 2 Miracles maybe they will be different and that will explain it better.
Some believe that there will be some kind of miraculous sign emanating from all places in the world where Our Lady has visited....perhaps occurring at the same time via a great manifestation of the Holy Spirit in His "Flame of Love" within the Second Pentecost, as He did in the First as the apostles also waited for His gifts with the Mother! And those places will be protected or blessed places for believers during the chastisement. These "signs" will show the world that truly Our Lady, through these various visitations, has been the one sent by God to guide and protect His children (Hers) throughout human history and that we have been the losers for not recognizing what was ordered by these visitations. She may even be given permission to grant special signs for all cenacles that have been, over the years, gathering in Her name! These, one could venture to say, have been those places in the desert where Our Lady has taken refuge while fleeing from the Red Dragon.

Rm 1:18-32 Why do I post this on this thread? Because it is our descent into paganism that has brought forth God's Mercy through the Holy Spirit that began with Our Lady's appearances in Fatima, then Garabandal and now in Medjugorje. It is God's return to rescue us which will lead to a renewal of the earth and mankind. We should not be downbeat but should be full of hope just as the good people 2000 years ago were living in hope for the Messiah. Their hope was not in vain, nor will the hope of the believers in Fatima, Garabandal and Medjugorje.
Most here I would trust, who believe in the love of the Mother and who have witnessed miracles of faith as well as physical healings coming through her modern day interventions for a sick world are already doing what she has asked as far as prayer, sacrifice, obedience and love of others. There have already been SIGNS coming forth from such places without the need to only wait for something in the future. Many who have died have already benefitted from those SIGNS they received from those places, esp. the grace to have converted before their deaths.....or even their vocations to the priesthood or religious life. No need to worry that such people would be left without the necessary grace for these times. They are already benefitting and helping others to do the same. In fact many have been motivated to carry out such efforts by their current experiences or the evangelizing of others who themselves have been so touched and converted. And....btw, certainly Charlie Johnston would fall into such categories of dependency upon, not the Blessed Mother herself, but upon another human's possibly flawed and ever "adjusting generalized guidance" which itself fails to incorporate the entire traditional mystical portion of the Body of Christ....such as that portion that accepts approved mystics and the possibility, as in Church history, of great supernatural events prophesied to come that will effect the conscience of the entire world on a grand scale and all at once...in fact, the greatest act of Mercy ever! Now "guidance" to stay away from the proper acceptance of such prophecies that come through even Saints of the Church SHOULD be a cause for concern that such advice could lead many to expect far less than God has in mind in His Divine Will for His people. The measure should be what the Church has guided her children safely to believe in....not filtered through what is comfortably accepted by another's limited human reason only.
Thank you for this really interesting and insightful post However, I just want to point out a couple of things: Mari Loli told a priest who interviewed her, that the warning would come in an even-numbered year, which would rule out 2017. She also said that the warning would come either three weeks or three months prior to the warning - but that she could not remember whether Our Lady had said weeks or months. In the same interview, Loli said that the warning and miracle would come within the same year - but she then clarified this remark, on the advice of the priest who was conducting the interview, and she conceded that she meant within a twelve-month period. I have recently been to Garabandal, and the understanding among many locals there is that, even though Conchita originally said March, April or May for the miracle, she allegedly admitted years later that it will in fact take place in April or May only. I believe that one of those places will be the shrine of Our Lady of the Sierras in Hereford, Arizona. Based on the Bible, I think that the sign will be a column of smoke during the day and a pillar of fire at night.
Wayne Weible's Medjugorje Newsletter, October 2016 states, “The link of the two sites will occur in March 2017, according to Medjugorje visionary, Mirjana.” I asked the newsletter about this and was told, "This comment was taken from Mirjana speaking with a group of pilgrims last month in Medjugorje. Also in her book she refers to March 18 but the 2017 comment was taken from her verbal comment."
RE: link between Medjugorje and Our Lady of the Sierras in Hereford, Arizona: In 1987 a couple from northern Illinois [Gerald and Patricia Chouinard] came down to the area to visit a family member and while hiking stumbled across a “for sale” sign in the weeds indicating a parcel of land was available in Ash Canyon on the lower mountain slope. This parcel allowed an unlimited panoramic view to the East of the high desert San Pedro valley 400 ft below and opposite to the West the winter snow capped Huachuca Mountains. Upon investigation the couple purchased eight acres of land in 1988 for their future retirement home and consigned an architect to draw up plans for a unique hillside residential home. In 1990 just prior to commencing construction the couple felt called after reading an article about a religious event happening in a place called Medjugorje,Yugoslavia. In November 1990 as with many thousands of others they went on the Medjugorje pilgrimage with a small group flying out of Chicago. With the usual unforeseen hardships the couple found an area that radiated “much spirituality”,especially impacting the convert wife's Catholic faith. It was one of the few times individuals were seen pushing to get into a church. However the couple did not experience very much exceptional visual phenomena as many others did. Most visually impressive was the mountain view of the valley below while standing by the large stone cross located on Mt. Kriscivac. It had some similarities to the land they had purchased for their new home above the 5,000 foot high Arizona Sonoran desert. Upon returning in November 1990 the couple commissioned the construction of their Arizona home which was completed in late 1991. Near the end of the construction as the husband was standing with the contractor looking down into the San Pedro Valley below, He [the husband] said it would be charming to erect a twenty foot cross that faces the valley below. This was the moment destiny began its further course. Thinking of the cross in Medjugorje, the size and composition of the proposed cross grew. As a result of an atrium being constructed in the couples home they became familiar with a company in Tucson that was capable of fabricating large remarkable creations formed out of fiber glass, steel and concrete composition.Upon consultation it was determined that if a larger cross was desired one could be built over 70 feet high. The wife expressed a strong desire that a statue of The Blessed Virgin Mary belonged next to the cross.
