I dispute this. This is very dangerous for a discerning person to gather up every so-called locution messages and apparition messages and then try to make some semblance of what will happen in the future. It is destined to fail every single time. The countdown to the kingdom endeavor is an exercise in futility because they try to cobble together some big picture of the future from diverse and questionable sources. Naturally since we are undergoing an assault on our religious freedom, many people are asking what is going on. The people that claim to be 'in the know' because of their 'study' of every locution ever made have to be very very careful not to lead people astray. They firstly have to be humble and I am not seeing that with the people that post advocating the Countdown to the Kingdom material. Tom J. was posting here briefly trying to discern Father Michel and one poster called him smug for dare questioning Father Michel.
Today is Ascension Thursday. In the First Reading, one of the apostles innocently asks Jesus, "“Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?” Jesus responds forcefully,
It is not for you to know the times or seasons
that the Father has established by his own authority.

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you,
and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem,
throughout Judea and Samaria,
and to the ends of the earth.”

At this time in history, we have one so-called apparition that has been going on for 39 years. Our Lady of Medjugorje only gives messages about advancing our holiness. She doesn't advocate any politician, any nation, or even mentioning much about the future except to say that she wants us to get to heaven. For many posters here, that is simply not enough information!! They have to seek out other messages to try to fill in their answers in their quest to know the future. That is dangerous. Why is it so mundane for some of the countdown to the kingdom advocates to try to live the Medjugorje messages exclusively? I can barely get through a full week of praying and fasting as she has asked us to do. It is very difficult to live as our Lady asks us. She wants us to see Jesus in everyone. That for me is the ultimate challenge. I keep hoping and praying that one day soon it will come easier for me, but for now it is hard. Maybe if every person on the forum who believes in the Medjugorje messages would just try to focus on them and live those messages flawlessly, more graces would flow and more unbelievers would be converted and our future would be happier.

3. One had better have a grounding in many of the different venues for informing the faithful since no one covers all bases. Look only to an as yet unapproved PR like Medjugorje (while beautiful and bearing so much universal blessed fruits like priestly vocations) and ignore even the approved ones since they speak to more, including fire falling from the sky, Communist takeover, coming plagues, Church division??? And Medj doesn't speak to future events that keep people interested as is also contained in other messages.....like the Miracle and coming secrets that should involve suffering of some type? You might want to refresh your own base of such info. Our Lady gives herself the title there, "Queen of Peace", as a sign of the leaning for those messages. In others she is called "Queen and Mother of the End Times" which then of course the messages involve more attention to what is occurring now already w/ warnings and preparations for the faithful and for the Church. Also, as an aside, our Lady in Medjugorje mentioned her type of disagreement w/ the punishment given to certain Franciscan priests in the area by the Bishop. Thus, there was a type of "favor" offered there! And actually the way of prayer and sacrifice and confession offered at Medj. was offered at Fatima.....why Medj is one that is called a continuation of Fatima since people have to be reminded....it isn't unique for that solution as many have done so. It's more an individual preference since God is good in offering His people according to the gifts/needs that they may have.

Padraig himself met the Blessed Mother in his bedroom. So what is the point you are trying to make.

If you watch the You Tube about Our Lady in Rwanda, you will realise that Blessed Mother often goes into bedrooms. You will find the You Tube true story about Our Lady at Rwanda on this Forum under (Step 1) Consecration to Mary, and the thread heading is (Step 2) 'Rosary of the Seven Sorrows.' Just scroll down it is on the first page on that thread, The video heading is (Step 3) Womens Conference 2017. Hopefully it will put your mind at rest.
Fr. Goring has gone off the rails. He made a YT video advising people not to be vaccinated against Covid 19 citing Revelation as authority.
I believe you have misunderstood where Fr. Goring is coming from. Are you aware that aborted babies are used in the process of producing vaccines. Apart from the moral scandal of benefiting from the murder of unborn babies, do you realise that the cells from those babies put you at risk of developing any number of unpleasant diseases.

For example, any diseases those unborn babies have inherited from their natural parents are being pumped into the veins/tissue of those who are vaccinated.

I think it is a disgrace what the medical profession has stooped to in our so called enlightened scientific age. And we are all a bunch of guinea pigs.

Yes, Julia, there are vaccines being developed by using aborted fetal cells. There are also some safe, pro-life ones being developed. If anyone wants some info on the safe ones, pm me and I will send you the links.
Thank you, Julia, for pointing this out.

Yeah, walking is certainly unusual. I don’t think I’ve heard of Our Lady walking in an apparition except for La Salette.

Yes, it is true we don't usually hear people say Blessed Mother walked. But if you listen to the talk I suggested on the Seven Sorrows thread, you will hear that Our Blessed Mother DANCED with the children in the apparitions in Rwanda. Does this mean the apparitions there are false? I don't think so.

So, the thread is still here! It is good, if people are behaving...

I think it is time, for Bishop Lemay to investigate into Fr. Michel's messages. They are dire/sensational. They are spreading fast on social media/YouTube. They say time is short--October!--which can lead vulnerable/excitable people to feel they must act immediately.

The bishop has a duty to his priests, to guide them and provide for them materially/spiritually. He has the same duty to his "flock," to provide sacraments and spiritual support/education. The bishop, also, has a duty to "protect the faith," which means to protect from possible false ideas/messages.

The Church has guidelines to study apparitions. The guidelines, released in 2011, say the bishop's panel should include "theologians, canonists, psychologists and doctors to help him determine the facts, the mental, moral and spiritual wholesomeness and seriousness of the visionary, and whether the messages and testimony are free from theological and doctrinal error." So, it seems like first steps are interviews with Fr. Michel, plus mental and physical evaluations.

Also, if Fr.Michel is to raise money to build two monasteries, the finances have to be looked at. This protects Fr. Michel, as well as possible donors. It is important, always to be transparent, with fundraising, for the Church. (There are legal regulations in Canada, I bet, just like in the US.)

She was dancing in the air, right? The weirdness to me seems to stem from thinking of her standing on terra firma. It’s one of the reasons why La Salette has seemed odd to me.

I guess I should clarify that it wasn’t the walking itself that seemed strange to me, but that it was implied that she was walking on the ground.

I am puzzled why you think Blessed Mother would not walk on the ground. I think if she was dancing in the air the children in Rwanda would have thought that very odd. They were dancing WITH her.

Saint Theresa, we call her the little flower, in her story told how she was shocked one day when she was travelling somewhere, and at the train station in the crowd, she spotted Jesus. He wore modern clothes and was walking obviously on the ground. Saint Theresa was shocked to see Him right there; and imagine those people with whom He was mingling had not idea who He was. I loved to read that.

You must have heard about 6 to 8 million people, Muslim and Christian and no doubt Jews as well seeing Our Lady walking on the dome of a Church in Cairo back in the late 1960's. True, that wasn't the ground but she was walking around on the dome. At first people thought she was a young woman intending to commit suicide by jumping off the dome. I believe there were a lot of miraculous healings there. There are videos of it on You Tube somewhere.

I can also share a testimony with you about Jesus making a journey by train just a few years ago now. I was told about it by the man who saw Jesus, because he couldn't wait to tell someone.

How it happened; the man who told me was actually a protestant pastor, who came to the Divine Mercy devotion at a Church near me. On this day, it was his first visit to the Divine Mercy devotion. He came by train, and as he was boarding the train that day it was drizzling with rain.

One man stood out because he was just wearing a shirt and trousers, everyone else was wearing a jacket or coat on account of the weather. The man without a coat was helping other passengers with their luggage as they boarded the train.

My pastor friend saw noting unusual at this point, and went in and sat down at a vacant seat. As the other passengers went to their seats, the man without a coat or jacket came along and asked my pastor friend if he could sit in the spare seat opposite. My pastor friend said of course.

As the train started moving, the man said to my pastor friend, "I hope you don't mind me asking, but if I fall asleep can you wake me when we get to Twyford," a station on the route. And sure enough the man nodded of as the train was travelling. As they came into Twyford, my pastor friend woke the man up and told him they were about to stop at Twyford. The man then got up and thanked my pastor friend and shook his hand, and left the train.

When my pastor friend entered the Church, and saw the image of Divine Mercy in the Church, he recognised the image as the very same man who had been on the train.

I believed this pastor, and rejoice in the times dear Jesus, presents Himself without us realising Who we are actually encountering. Peace.

I have thought of the phrase, "He walks among us" many times throughout the years. I look for Him frequently.
