I see that Easter is being celebrated in Moscow and being broadcast on state television. Could it be that Russia's presentation as a friend of Christianity may lead some to doubt the prophesy from Garabandal that the Tribulation will come from Russia and so to doubt in Garabandal itself. Not me, but forewarned is forearmed. Things may not pan out exactly the way we imagine but the prophesies will all be fulfilled. Lock your imagination away and just pay attention to what we have been told by Our Lady through the seers. What is The Tribulation that was shown to the girls? Russia and Communism. What happens if we don't change after the Warning? Chastisement - simple as that. The Tribulation shown was horrific. The Chastisement even worse. When will all of this happen? When the children of the generation of the seers are adults. They are all adults now. But in the end, if we live the messages, we will be saved, some of us on earth, others in heaven. The good will be taken with the bad. But the Immaculate Heart will triumph. That triumph I believe will come after the Chastisement. I cannot see a promised Triumph being temporary. According to scripture The Holy Spirit does not deal in half measures. The Triumph will be total and complete. Therefore it cannot come to fulfilment until after The Chastisement. In believing in the reality rather than the conditionality of the Chastisement I am simply reflecting the stated opinion of the seers. I am not saying that the Chastisement is unconditional. It's just our take that it is more likely than not. Me and the seers.
The problem with "Russia as a friend of Christianity" is that Russian Orthodox faith is absolute. The Russian Orthodox Church was created or declared a separate Patriarchy just before the fall of Constantinople. The Tsar at the time said that "Constantinople was the second Rome; Moscow is the third Rome; there will be no others." Moscow views itself as the keeper of Orthodoxy, putting itself at odds with the Greek Orthodox Church. Moscow has for years not had anything positive to say about anything to do with Rome, because the Roman Church had embraced heterodoxy. If Russia attacks the West, it may be with Communist support, but I'll wager it would be pitched as a war of liberation, freeing the poor slaves of the West from the yokes of heterodoxy and into the fullness of the Orthodox faith.
And there is a history there as the Orthodox Church used the state and vice versa as the season necessitates. Right now the economy there is awful so the "state" accommodates the other nationalizer stabilizer, the Church, (and Putin needs the Church so as not to have to deal with things at home while his plans for hegemony continue outwardly) and when the economy is good the Orthodox bow more to the state. Roman Catholic priests are still not allowed to preach while they set up a couple of days to hold a meeting with Franklin Graham, who btw has not had good things to say about Pope Francis, and some other Protestant types and then they're gone to spread the propaganda that Russia is open to "other" views of religion. Ummm, I don't think so.
Hi there, I don't know if anyone will see this but I stumbled across this thread while looking for information about this topic. I'd like to know too if anyone else has had this experiences and when I discovered about garabandal I related to personal revelation I had myself. When I was younger I had an understanding after events which had brought me close to heaven, in which there was only love and I experienced in dreams some things which taught me through faith, to believe in Jesus. I received instant healing and absolution and felt blessed in my life, which it was, after that. I remember one day when my daughter was very young and as we waited outside a store one-day she asked me me innocently what would the end of the world be like. I remembered this fear from my own childhood and knew that as she had just started school, she was more than likely getting hit by the stuff of fears from the playground. Kids like to do that. But I knew instantly what to say as if it were being directed for me to tell her and the answer was a soothing balm to her and if I'm honest I felt caught up in spirit as it was revealed to me too. My father had died the previous year and I had been with him as he passed, I felt again how it was as he departed and told her that it would be like if one day, you looked up at the sky and you saw a bright bright light, but it wasn't the sun. It was like the sun but much brighter, and white and as soon as you saw it you stop being afraid. It was beautiful and when I saw the story of garabandal and others like it I am reminded of how I saw this vision and the understanding of it and the peace with which it brought to our lives. After reading this whole thread, it amazes me how many times Glenn had to repeat himself that Mary did indeed say extra-terrestrial beings exist. I applaud Glenn's patience. Why is it so hard to believe that our Creator limited us to one place in this enormous universe....its insulting to place such limitations on our God...geesh.
Since Joey was born 1930 he would have been onehundred years old in 2030. Conchita was surely aware of his age and - knowing the date of the Miracle - she will nevertheless "most likely" call him eight days in advance. She is obviously seeing Joey as still alive and capable of answering phone calls when the time arrives. Based on her own words and the age of Joey, it seems likely that the Miracle would happen at the latest around 2030.
