Mary, this weekend I especially experienced the same thing. I have friends who are now in Medjugorje and told me they would offer prayers for me at the site where the children first saw Our Lady. Sunday was an extraordinary day and I came to realized that someone must have been praying for me, I was so filled with the Holy Spirit it was awesome...then Monday came like a storm and if I hadn't relished my Sunday and made sure all my disciplines were in place I would have spatted on my face. It's like walking the plank some days...and the attacks come from those closest to me! I just have to make sure I don't take my eyes off Jesus, even though the wind and the waves become very rough. I thank God regularly for getting my attention , my conversion and gift of faith.
It is true what you are both saying. I pray constantly and lead a fairly simple life, yet often I feel like I am treading water in some black river like a fierce current trying to sweep me away. I feel like all the demons in hell have been released and are loose in the world and ever greater numbers of souls are being sept to hell. We are in an intense spiritual darkness and in the very thick of battle. Now, more then ever we are called to pray, pray, pray. Yet, its a paradox but Our Lady seems so close.
Well, I'll make one more final post on this subject and I hope some of you will find time to read it as it is the very heart of why Mary comes down to heaven to visit us and why,soon, the visits will cease for this era of the world. Now look in scripture how Jesus came into the world and see how the world recieved Him. He came as the Prince of Peace. At his birth, historians tell us it was the one time in human history when the world was a t total peace. This has not happened , either before or since. Isaiah 9:6 For a child has been born to us, a son has been given to us. He shoulders responsibility and is called: Extraordinary Strategist, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. But He came to His own and His own rejected Him. John 1:9-11: "9 nThat 2was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and othe world did not know Him. 11 pHe came to His 3own, and His 4own did not receive Him. " Now, notice from yesterdays Gospel what from this rejection takes. HIS OWN People reject him: Gospel Lk 4:24-30 Jesus said to the people in the synagogue at Nazareth: "Amen, I say to you, no prophet is accepted in his own native place. Indeed, I tell you, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah when the sky was closed for three and a half years and a severe famine spread over the entire land. It was to none of these that Elijah was sent, but only to a widow in Zarephath in the land of Sidon. Again, there were many lepers in Israel during the time of Elisha the prophet; yet not one of them was cleansed, but only Naaman the Syrian." When the people in the synagogue heard this, they were all filled with fury. They rose up, drove him out of the town, and led him to the brow of the hill on which their town had been built, to hurl him down headlong. But he passed through the midst of them and went away. But notice this too not only are His own people at the very forefront of rejecting Him, actually wanting to kill Him, but the Religious Authorities, the folks who should have been rushing to embrace Him arrange His death!! John 7:1-9 (American Standard Version) John 7 1 And after these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Judaea, because the Jews sought to kill him. 2 Now the feast of the Jews, the feast of tabernacles, was at hand. 3 His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that thy disciples also may behold thy works which thou doest. 4 For no man doeth anything in secret, and himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou doest these things, manifest thyself to the world. 5 For even his brethren did not believe on him. Now what is happening in this present time is that Heaven has sent Mary to us down from Heaven as Queen of Peace. This is because of the urgency of the Apostacy from God, to save the world from hell and destroying itself. The correlations between the coming of the Prince of Peace and Mary, as Co-redemptrix as Queen of Peace are exact. Mary comes to the world sent by heaven as her Son was to save us. Like Jesus Mary is rejected but primarily be her very own people, her children. Not only this but the primary rejection is led by the very religious authorities whom should have rushed to embrace her!! Just as the religious authorities at the time of Jesus the Pharisees rushed to persecute the Redeemer. So in The Catholic Church it is the little ones who accept Mary's role to lead us through this grave darkness, so at the time of Jesus it was the little one's who accepted, while the learned and wise fail to see.. This failure to see Mary is in the plan of God from all eternity so that.... Mark 4:12 so that 'they may see clearly but not perceive, and they may hear clearly but not understand, otherwise they might turn around and be forgiven.'" So, just as the Jews reject Jesus and the true Church is grafted on to the Chosen People so now those who reject Mary's Redemptive Role in these present days will break away from the One True Church. In doing so they will reap a terrible harvest, for just as Jerusalem fell to the Romans after the rejection of Christ those who reject Mary's role will be annihilated. Just as Christ led us to the great Triumph of Calvary and the Ressurection so Mary leads the Church to the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart when the final Marian Dogma's will be proclaimed by a future Pope. Before the Light of Easter, before the Triumph of Mary we must endure the Darkness of the Passion, of the Tribulation , the great darkness through which we now walk. "But when the fullness of time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman" (Gal. 4:4), namely that Woman who "shall crush" the head of the serpent (Gen. 3:15), who shall appear "clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars" (Rev. 12:1).
Padraig, I have just heard from my friend from Cork' Our Lady came to her and gave her alittle message the gist of it is as follows; At this time you are living in a time of great obscurity. There is an attempt in many ways to compromise between God and Satan between the spirit of Jesus and the World even this false spirit which is not of Jesus is in the Church and is seeking more and more to spread itself about. many are in danger of becoming its victims. Our Lady also asked that we all consecrate ourselvs to her Immaculate heart or renew our consecration. This is not an exact copy. That's very interesting Mary, In Mark Mallett's latest teaching he explains that a holy priest he knows receives visits from holy souls and saints and here is the latest: This humble priest has also received recent visits from the Little Flower, St. Thérèse de Liseux, who has given a message, which I believe is for the whole Church. Fr. does not publicize these things, but confided them to me personally. With his permission, I am publishing them here. WARNING FROM THE PAST In April, 2008, the French saint appeared in a dream wearing a dress for her first Communion and led him toward the church. However, upon reaching the door, he was barred from entering. She turned to him and said Just as my country [France], which was the eldest daughter of the Church, killed her priests and faithful, so will the persecution of the Church take place in your own country. In a short time, the clergy will go into exile and will be unable to enter the churches openly. They will minister to the faithful in clandestine places. The faithful will be deprived of the "kiss of Jesus" [Holy Communion]. The laity will bring Jesus to them in the absence of the priests. Immediately, Fr. understood that she was referring to the French Revolution and the sudden persecution of the Church which burst out. He saw in his heart that priests will be forced into offering secret Masses in homes, barns, and remote areas. Events are moving so quickly now, it is hard to keep up with them all. But I think it will take something particular to trigger all these events ofinto sudden and dramatic action. I have been thinking of Deanna's dream, ;ate;y and a dream I had myself a couple of months ago. I was up in the sky looking down at a little town in America, I think on the prairie. It was so flat it was like a pancake of green for hundreds of miles.It had a railroad going through it. I went town and walked round it a little, it was very small but so clean and well ordered and in so many ways different from Ireland, almost like a little village. I saw it had a military base at a junction . Suddenly a lot of vehicles came and they attacked places all over the town. I think they were like locusts, they did not know about the military base, so it was not really planned. I stood with them in a gun store in the town as they ripped off guns and stole them. However one group discovered the military entrance and ran back to shout for the rest, then they all stormed the miltary compound looking for guns. However when they took the place over..and their was no resistance for it was a total surprise for those there and it was very ill defended, they found weapons much, much more powerful than guns..and I dreamt that when the country heard what they had in their hands they were terrified...
We are living in the Marian Age of Church history. Without the intervention of our Blessed Lady at all of the apparition sites the world would have destroyed itself a long time ago. But things are not good for the world still refuses to listen. Events are coming that will shock us all to the core but we are fortunate in that we are all preparing spiritually and have been fore-warned. This is most important!!! Prepare yourself spiritually for the days ahead. Do not be afraid, pray but most of all TRUST. Fear has no place in the heart of a believer - hand them over - ask for healing and a deeper sense of God's providence. He has, is and always will look after you for he is our Father [Abba father].Pray the Rosary slowly like Padraig was taught by our Lady. One Hail Mary prayed properly and with heart and soul is unbelievably powerful. This is no time for fear - now is the time for growth - we are still in the time of mercy so we can ask for divine assistance to grow deeper in our faith. But do not delay for we do not know when the hour will come. Persecution is most definitely coming but fear not what you are going to say for the Holy Spirit is our comfort and our guide and will inspire us to speak the words of Christ. And our Blessed Mother is with us. If we knew how much she loved us we would cry with happiness.
