I do remember hearing Mirjana saying what would happen would be like when we spring clean the house. First we empty things out and move furniture to get behind it and give everything a good clean. What we are seeing is a total mess with the governments and the Church. This sort of looks like what Mirjana was talking about. I don't know where a deteriorating mentally Putin or senile Biden fit in. But between them and the poor Holy Father we are in one hell of a mess.
Shame on us if the Blessed Virgin Mary is still repeating the same advice after 40 years. If we listened and did as she asked, the Triumph of her Immaculate Heart would have already happened. NEW happens when enough of us respond and do as Blessed Mother asks. More war war and less jaw jaw as Churchill once said. Thank you Blessed Mother for not giving up on us even if we are as thick as two short planks. You still keep trying Blessed Mother even if it means trying to make a square out of a circle. Forgive us and ask Jesus to forgive us too. Without Him, we are stuffed.
If you had access to someone with infinite wisdom wouldn't you want a more inspiring and helpful message, especially with all the problems we are seeing with the governments and the church? A commission on Medjugorje established in 2010 by Pope Benedict XVI and chaired by Cardinal Camillo Ruini voted 13-1 to confirm the supernatural origin of the first seven occurrences of the apparition only. I wonder if this is because the messages have been so similar since then.
I personally do not think the medj messages are meant for people who are already on the path of conversion which if you are a regular poster here you probably are. The messages, especially to mirjana, are meant to move people onto that path of conversion. Once you are on the path in a committed way you don't need to read the messages regularly and I don't really think you are the target audience anymore. Even today there is someone reading a medj message for the first time who will hopefully make the personal decision to convert. It is not repetitive for them. As for getting insight into dealing with the problems of today...I personally think once you become firmly committed to growing in holiness and are spending quality time with Jesus and Mary...they will reveal to you what you need to know. If nothing is revealed to you then you probably don't need to know anything right now and are being asked to trust. I do think this is available to all of us but it helps if your are firmly committed to conversion and strive down this path daily in a very determineded way.
Actually, indaiatubano, the problem in the world, and more particularly in the Church, is that the above message is the essence of the Gospel, and is not being lived out in the daily lives of most Catholics, hence the repitition: So that everything you do in life you do with my Son, with love...So that your spirituality is internal, and not just external. The daily grind of Catholic life is what it is all about...I've been involved in the Charismatic Renewal, Marian devotions, family prayer groups...but it is perseverance in my Faith, lived on a daily basis, from which the victory shall spring. Our Lady is looking for souls to pick up their crosses and follow after her Son! The joy which springs forth from such a daily struggle is never superficial, and always inspiring! Holy Mary, Mother of God!

a beautiful mother will always warn her children from danger in the simplest of ways....so as not to be misconstrued....so I think the apparitions that tell us things that sound like they are out of the daily news are terribly off. This is not Super 8 ball....this is a Mother who loves her children so much she speaks in the simplest, most humble of ways.
That's what mothers do, they repeat themselves over and over and over, because most of the time their children don't listen. If my son asked for a more inspiring and helpful message every time I asked him to tidy his room he'd likely receive a clip round the ear, but thankfully our Blessed Mother is an infinitely kinder, holier and more patient mother than me!
I understand the Replies! The problem is with all these messages nothing is really changing. When Pope John Paul II visited Ireland in 1979, 80% of the population went to mass and now only 30% go. The number of new trainee priests at Maynooth is at a record low. I am sure it is the same in other countries. It would be nice to know where we are going wrong and how can we fix the problem. Should we take the Eucharist on our tongue or in our hands? Is the Latin mass correct or the Novus ordo? Who is the correct pope or do we have two? etc. I am sure Our lady could help us easily to solve these issues.
In the early stage of the apparitions an atheist psychologist ended up believing in the apparitions. When asked why, he said because Mary acted like a real mother, always on time and repeating her instructions to her children. I remember the story of a nun who was complaining of her sewing and dropping her pins, Jesus talked about doing our daily chores without complaining and saving souls and said pick up a pin, save a soul. Are all of us doing our daily duties with Jesus, without complaining? Jesus told sister Lucia of Fatima that 'The sacrifice required of every person is the fulfillment of his duties in life and the observance of My Law. This is the penance that I now seek and require." It's true that the messages fro Medugorje (and other ongoing sites) can appear repetitive and I don't claim to follow every single one. I am more inclined to dip in from time to time. Some of them however are real eye openers. I was reading one the other day in which Our Lady showed them Heaven, Hell and Purgatory. Apparently there was one blond young girl, beautiful who went into the fires of hell and emerged totally black like a monster complete with horns and a tail. I find this account fascinating.
