Thank you Michael. Some things in Australia are looking up. Monica sent me a wonderful update of what is happening in Melbourne VIC and NSW. May God be praised and May Our Lady help of Christians (The title of Our Lady that Australian invokes especially) and St Joseph the terror of demons, continue to uphold Australia at this time. Below the recent messages from Monica, Dominic Perrottet Dumps Brad Hazzard's bill seeking an extension of emergency powers until 2023. In a stunning turn of events, The Australian has reported tonight that Dominic Perrottet has dumped Brad Hazzard's bill seeking to expand the state's Covid-198 emergency powers until 2023. NSW will extend SOE powers until March 2023 including masks, lockdowns and curfews Reignite Democracy Australia November 16, 2021 5:12 pm 4 Comments The controversial powers used to enforce mask mandates, lockdowns and curfews in NSW look set to be extended until 2023 after Cabinet approved a plan to lock them in for an additional 17 months. The Perrottet Government will extend the use of COVID-19 emergency powers until March 2023 after the New South Wales Health Minister pushed the proposal through Cabinet on Monday. Cabinet approved Brad Hazzard’s proposal on Monday night which has led to backlash from some Coalition MPs, according to The Australian. Mr Hazzard’s proposal to extend the powers comes off the back of a recommendation from Chief Health Officer Kerry Chant. Under the state of emergency powers, the Health Minister has jurisdiction to declare Public Health Orders including restriction of movement, mask mandates, curfews and lockdowns. The Australian has reported the Health Minister took the proposal to a party room meeting on Tuesday where multiple MPs challenged the necessity for the powers to be extended until March 2023. Dear josephite, your call should be a call to everyone of us. This atrocity in Australia is going global. Like you, I’ve been a part of rosary groups who knew we were headed for something…hence why we stayed grouped. None of the particulars were revealed to us either, but when it’s in front of your eyes, you get it. All any of us can do is what you’re doing…pray for the graces to endure. It may be a global nightmare…only God knows. The only thing we knows for sure….in the end, God wins
Your post is so heartfelt…it’s so sad to read these firsthand accounts. My prayers for you and your family!
I feel very touched by the sufferings of others. The more so in that my own life is very, very, very happy and peaceful. Words of comfort are always best given from those who lie on a bad of similiar pain. But I know and trust that God picks the shoulder for the Cross. However recently the knowledge that God is very, very close at hand in times of need have been a comfort to me. This afternoon I went to bed getting ready for my 5th night shift in a row. I was restless and could not sleep and took a sleeping pill. I woke up half an hour after I should have been in work. I rushed to hsopital to discover that one of the managers had left five minutes before I was suppose to arrive and so I escaped being caught out for being so late. I also found a new person had done all my work for me before I arrived. I just see the hand of God in these events. The bottom line is I needed the extra sleep and got it and did not get in trouble for it. I think you know if we can find God in the little things we will find His sure Hand in the big things too.
I was too dozzy to be even frightened. I will be more careful with the sleeping pills in future, they really, really work.
Yes. Me too. He is always keeping His eye on the sparrow. So many times a day He comes to my aid. In your case a night shift is very hard. I've had friends who have done these shifts. Try as one might they are always in a sleep deficit. I'm so glad you were able to catch up and that Our Lord covered for you.
So many graces. The grace of His help. The grace to be aware of his help. The grace to be grateful for Help. ..and the grace to say a simple, 'Thank you'.
Yes, Ignacio. We all have to prayerfully make our choices. I have a relative who reluctantly took the vaccine because her job provides key medical coverage for her family and she is a diabetic dependent on insulin. I condemn no one who has taken the vaccine, but I am not blinded to the fact that the covid-19 "pandemic" has become a tool for oppressive governments seeking to increase their power at the expense of citizen liberties. Why everyone in the USA cannot see this as a violation of the Bill of Rights is beyond me! Praying for you and yours! Lord have Mercy!
I am almost certain that this video was already posted on the forum but just in case, I'm reposting it here.
