What these people seem to do is push so called, 'Democratic', groups (such as the German Synodal Pathway) in order to push their own agenda's. Most of us live very busy lives. We just don't have time to attend these numerous meetings. So it is very,very easy for a tiny group of really determined people with their won agenda's to swing things in their own way. We saw this in action so well in the USA where Radical Liberal School Boards got themselves elected by such shennanigans. They do this all the time, but particularly in the Church. At the age of 12, in Catholic school, when they taught us that we were to receive Holy Communion in the hand from now on. (I was born in the US - lived there until I was 15) And as we learned to do this, I remembered thinking to myself that Holy Communion must not be such a big deal after all, because the reasons we were taught about why we received on the tongue only 5 years earlier were tossed out the window. At the same time one of our teachers, a nun, never let a day go by without mentioning the evils of communism. We children thought she was nuts, because we were Americans, and that "could never happen here".
