It is in our face Padrig. More and more as the days pass. It angers me greatly when I hear the term MAP. The acronym is gaining more and more widespread use. Minor Attracted Person The people who espouse such a term and belief state that it is ok to be attracted to children as long as you do nothing. It is not ok, it has never been ok, and never will be ok. The correct term is pedophile or pederast. Oh Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.
I try to draw out the positives in all this as far as I can. In an Exorcism a really positive sign when the Devil breaks out into the open. He stops hiding crouching behind a bush. He comes right out into the open and roars and spits at you. It is the same in the Spiritual Life. When he comes right out into the open. My Spiritual Director said take it as a compliment. The same with these dreadful people. It is a sure sign that Satan is just about to get his neck broken. The same thing applies in the Church generally. Germany and Rome for instance. Right out in the open where everyone can see them.
Some poor soul ran into that pizza restaurant with a gun a few years back , asking to see what was going on in the basement. He knew what was going on. He wanted revenge. I think he fired a few shots and is in jail now. I think he was made to recant. Vile evil there, I have no doubt.
My children are all grown but I have 6 (soon to be 7) grandchildren. I’ve talked with my kids and we are all working through how best to protect these children. Yes, certainly with prayer. But, on a more practical level , I’m convinced we need to either hone school or find a non- public school option with very carefully vetted people. We will need to be like Eagles soaring above and watching our for any and all predators. I pray God give me the health and strength to help my kids.

IMHO and with those that I know - yes this could happen. They have decimated US manufacturing. There are so few steel mills in North America and the knowledge on melting and making product for military usage is almost gone. Not to mention some of the elements to make steel do not come from the US and are difficult to procure. Also certain applications require certain metals to be used and the lead-times just to get metal is over 1-1/2 years. We only have what we have in stock and when we are out - might be difficult to re-supply. And like everything much of our military equipment uses chip technology. And we know where that business went. I believe Canadian prepper says that is one of the reasons China eyes Taiwan I went to the drugstore the other day and was shocked hardly any OTC meds were available. If meds for the common cold are low stock I can only imagine what else is having issues
My grocery store has been out of infant and children's motrin and tylenol for several weeks now. I am fortunate in that I slowly stocked up months ago and still have a good supply, even of infant medicines that I may need for the baby coming soon.
My friends in Kentucky needed distilled water for the use of a medical machine they need to use. They live in Louisville. They drove all around to 5 or 6 different stores last evening and could not find it! Finally, they did, and bought several jugs of it.
It is troubling to see that we still do not have a Speaker of the House. I’m seeing little hope that we can get it together… and at a time where we need unity and strength to deal with all the outside threats , we are weaker. I fear thus only emboldens enemies.

All will be settled on God's time and never ours. I trust in Him thus this speaker of the house business does not bring me any discomfort. On the contrary it is bringing me comfort. You have 20 brave leaders standing against 90% of the house saying enough is enough. We reject your ways of doing things and we don't want another swamp creature in power. God protect this country and those brave enough to stand up against the mob's constant screaming, shouting, name calling, etc.
