I happen to know, as per Maria (Saracco ) that Mari Loli had at one point been questioned by a priest who was trying to extract the year of the Warning from her. She would not tell him. Finally, he asked if she could at least tell him if it was an even or odd year. She relented and told him that it would be an “ even year. Yes, friends, let's all try to remember we're all on the same side here. To go to Heaven and to help each other go to Heaven should be our only aims. And so we're all in it together and should help each other, whatever our slight disagreements. If we can't agree on the prophecies or other issues, we can pleasantly agree to disagree. Advocata Nostra, yes the preparation is to be primarily spiritual. In fact, God the Father has directed us to make a good Confession before November ends. More on that in another thread. Less important is the physical preparation. Christy, thanks for your response. St. Thomas says God continues to send Prophets even after Christ and His Apostles, not for revealing any new dogma, but to direct the actions of men. God therefore intends by His Prophets to direct our actions according to His revealed Will for us. Do you believe the Warning is coming, Christy? Garabandal was accepted by three Saints including two Popes, Pope St. Paul VI, Pope St. John Paul II, St. Padre Pio beside several others. I know they're still waiting to give an "official" ruling, but there's another area where the acceptance of two or three Saint witnesses is useful. And other Saints have prophesied the Warning, like Sts. Campion, Montfort and Faustina. The Book of the Prophet Amos in the Holy Bible says surely the Lord God does nothing without revealing His Secret to His Servants the Prophets. Per St. Thomas, that includes the modern Messengers sent by Heaven. To me, it makes sense that the time for the Warning is come, and Heaven is reaching out through different voice-boxes to make that Truth known to the world. Maybe we will have to agree to disagree on that. Padraig, right, let's revisit the thread after the 30 odd days until the end of Autumn. I think it doesn't set a single date. It just gives the season. MMM, yes the Bible says the Day of the Lord will come like a Thief in the night - to the ungodly and the unprepared. The Lord also teaches this in His Parables, that it is to the drunken servants that the Master will return like a Thief. St. Paul specifically says in 1 Thess 5 to Christians that you are not in darkness, for that Day to come like a Thief upon us. So we can be enlightened by the Lord according to His guidance in order to better discern the signs of the times and learn from Him the time of His visitation upon us. He expected the Pharisees to know the time of His visitation. The Prophet Daniel had prophesied it in the Seventy Weeks prophesy. But besides, since many will not believe His Messages through modern Prophets, that Day will probably come like a Thief upon them in the end. But I hope not.
The only person who claimed to know the date of the Warning has died. Any thoughts on why such apparently pointless information was provided to one individual who was not to share it or survive to see the event? And, as for guessing dates, look at the impenetrable 'clues' provided about the date of the Miracle -lots of clues, no agreed solution, that also seems pointless but it does appear to be a clear and celestial invitation to guess the date of a future earth-shattering event and which of us hasn't (pointlessly) tried?
